dbForge Edge vs MySQL: Which is best for you?

dbForge Studio is essential for my team as it saves time and money for all of our developers no matter how much experience they have with SQL, Database maintenance and development (DDL), function & view creation/modification, etc.

The "Edit View" feature is a little clunky--you cannot edit SQL directly in the SQL tab, and when you try to do it in the Query

Biggest benefit that I see with MySQL is it supports addition of columns to desired position (using BEFORE and AFTER keyword), this basic functionality is not provided with premier tools like Postgre SQL.

Compared to other databases like PostgreSQL or Oracle, MySQL lacks some advanced features such as full-text search and partial indexes, which may be a limitation for certain use cases.
