Easy to use

It is an intuitive, easy-to-use program that has a lot of features to help make working with PostgreSQL databases easier. The GUI is well laid out and the program is fast and responsive. I have been able to quickly and easily perform tasks like creating and editing tables, running queries, and exporting data. I also appreciate the built-in code completion which is a great time-saver.

Pros:

dbForge Studio for PostgreSQL is a great tool for managing PostgreSQL databases due to its flexibility, wide variety of features, and customizability. It offers a selection of color themes and layout options, as well as customizable toolbars and menus. It also provides several database management tools, such as a query builder and SQL Editor, which make it easy to create and execute queries and review results. Additionally, the IntelliSense feature provides intelligent code completion and syntax highlighting, making it easier to write and debug SQL queries.

Cons:

I found the documentation to be lacking in certain areas and the price of the full version was too high for my budget.

Pros:

We have been using dbForge Studio for SQL Server for a long time and we really like how similar it works. This makes it very convenient for us.

Cons:

Coming from a background of using dbForge Studio for SQL Server, we are accustomed to the integrated Source Control functionality. We have noticed that this specific feature seems to be missing in the PostgreSQL version, and it is something our team misses greatly.

I use this useful IDE as a database manager for PostgreSQL. It facilitates the creation and execution of several operations in PostgreSQL databases.. Indeed, it allows me to design, create, visualize and track my databases. It has a numerous useful functions such as schema comparison, backup, restore, and so on...

Cons:

This tool has two major problems: It is expensive and it is not compatible with all PostgreSQL databases.

Reliable PostgreSQL DB tool

I have compared many programs to manage our databases in PostgreSQL but dbForge is one of my favourites. The whole GUI is intuitive and gives me nearly all the options I need. The exports to the different formats are easy and reliable. It is a tool I am using daily which helps me for the general SQL queries.

Pros:

It is very easy to use and has a wide variety of functions for the everyday use. It is very stable compared to other database tools. For all my database related tasks I use it 99% of the time.

Cons:

I wish it would offer more database mangement features like editing functions and procedures. One feature I really would like have is the option to debug database functions. But to be fair, not many other compareable programs offer that.
