About OptiSigns

OptiSigns is a cloud-based solution that helps businesses manage digital displays for promotional content and advertising using text, photos, videos and other types of media. Key features include content scheduling, media library, automatic player updates and multi-screen support.

Designed for businesses of all sizes, OptiSigns lets users upload content in various formats such as JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, and MP4, along with the ability to operate screen displays remotely using mobile devices. Administrators can also customize business promotions with targeted playlists.

OptiSigns helps organizations handle content scheduling using multiple tools like recurring promotions, overlap promotions and time zone awareness to identify the best time to publish. Mobile applications for Android devices are also offered to remotely manage business activities. It is available on a monthly subscription and support is extended via documentation, phone, email and other online measures.

Pros:

Still as easy and straightforward to use as the day we implemented, does not require much attention.

Cons:

After using Optisigns for over a half a year I genuinely have no complaints about the service, we are very happy!

Works well and easy to deploy

Overall the service has worked well, 30 screens and counting. Our company was using another service prior, and Optisigns far exceeds the capabilities of the previous service. Optisigns not only beat them in price, but in usability.

Tons of integrations(Apps) at a reasonable cost. Easy deployment. Detailed help sections. Fast response time for support(email).

Cons:

I would like an easier way to authorize Microsoft integrations or a easy way to change Microsoft accounts when needed.

Reasons for switching to OptiSigns

Pros:

OptiSigns is a really easy software to use and changing slides is easy and seamless with our workflow.

Cons:

There has been some display difficulties for PDF files with the way it renders longer presentations for digital signage.

Smooth Operating Sysytem

Pretty smooth and well run programming. The most issues I've experienced is either a broken or bad file not being displayed properly (which is usually not their fault), or a problem with Google Drive communicating with OptiSigns properly.

Pros:

It is pretty intuitive, and I like the ability to pull directly from a Google Drive. It is easy to manipulate and display things on vertically oriented tvs.

Cons:

It is really expensive for the service. We definitely under utilize the software and is able to do way more than what we need, which is nice, however we don't need the extras. So for the minimal use we need, it is an expensive premium. A lower cost, limited access, budget option would be nice and we would personally really benefit from it.

Reasons for choosing OptiSigns

Easier to train others on the program, rather than running our own from a server.

OptiSigns and OptiStick - easy to setup and use

Easy to setup and use, working as expected and wanted in just a few minutes - I think, OptiSigns is a very good product for our purposes of displaying videos, information and ads on big screens.

Pros:

I am using OptiSigns with OptiStick and the Android app. It it easy to setup and configure, I was up and going within less than an hour. You can setup your screens in a userfriendly interface even without using a tutorial. You can see the status of your devices and apps.

Cons:

The only downside for me was, that I couldn't see which extact features are not available in the free version, but pricing is okay.

OptiSigns is very user-friendly and easy to manage, even for non-technical users. The platform makes it simple to update digital displays quickly, which is extremely helpful when we need to communicate important information. I also appreciate the flexibility to schedule content, the clean and intuitive interface, and the ability to manage multiple screens from a single dashboard. Overall, OptiSigns has been a reliable and cost-effective solution for our digital signage needs.

Cons:

OptiSigns is generally easy to use, some of the advanced features require a learning curve, especially when setting up more complex layouts or integrations.

First 60 days with 60 screens.

Over experience has been top notch. I wish the pro player came with a remote and more info on processing power.

Very flexible and fast deployment. Players pro and stick have a quick boot time with easy transport.

Cons:

Needs a better way to handle streaming. Ex. Making a channel guide for HLS streams with no duration to switch. No remote for pro player.

Cost and features. Needed the a product that was able to stream HLS and RTSP.

Cost and features were lacking. Took a lot of time to deploy and manage.

Great App. Lots of potential

It is easy to upload and to create playlists. Very consistent in the screens and looks great. Having a mobile app version is is helpful.

OptiSigns is a useful and easy to use in-store marketing option

OptiSigns has been a very useful part of our day to day operations at Old Guard Games! Easy to use and requires very little training for any employee to get the hang of.

OptiSigns allows us to change our in-store marketing easily as well as use non-marketing materials like special event codes without any complicated software.

Cons:

OptiSigns has a lot of app integration, but it is hard to get it to do something relatively simple in terms of video - playing a YouTube video or playlist.

Ease of use and ease of set up. Great communication and customer support. No bugs or issues. Very user friendly and easy to customize.

Cons:

No issues as the ipad came in its case with step-by-step instructions. A potential dual screen mode would be a good feature to show weather or other content, especially when no one is signing in, but not too major.
