Pixpa has simplified my entire workflow, and my clients appreciate the experience as well. As a wedding photographer with thousands of gallery visitors each year, having a smooth, intuitive system is essential, and Pixpa delivers exactly that.

Pros:
Pixpa is fast, reliable, and extremely smooth when loading client galleries. The design options are solid, with enough layout variations to customize each gallery to my brand. The mobile experience is excellent and fully optimized for small screens. Gallery management is well-thought-out and efficient, which saves me a lot of time. Clients can download their photos easily without complicated steps, and I appreciate the ability to match the branding perfectly to my website. The biggest highlight is customer support – they’re quick, friendly, and helped me with every question I had.
Cons:
I’ve used several competing gallery systems in the past, and honestly, I can’t find anything significant to complain about in Pixpa. The service has been stable and meets all my needs.

Reasons for switching to Pixpa

I switched from ShootProof mainly because of slow and unresponsive customer support. I often had to wait a long time for answers, and some issues remained unresolved. Pixpa offered a smoother experience, better support, and a more reliable system for my clients.

Website creation is intuitive and user-friendly, Pixpa provides really nice and versatile options for displaying and managing artwork, photography, and the overall clean, professional look of the website. Customer support is quick and helpful, always responding within a few hours.
Cons:
They don't offer an integrated domain registration, so you have to go through a third-party provider and manually connect your domain to the website, which adds some extra setup steps.

But what truly sets Pixpa apart is their customer service — hands down the best I’ve ever experienced. Anytime I hit a snag, I reached out and got clear, straightforward guidance within minutes. No runaround, just real support from people who know their stuff. If you're looking for a website host that actually cares and delivers on every front, I cannot recommend Pixpa enough.
Cons:
Not sure as of yet, every time I thought I was going to find one Pixpa was able to assist or give detailed guidance.

Not worth giving them money

Functional but a constant stress and headache where you have to check to make sure your website is working on a bi-weekly basis, occasionally have serious problems like sale galleries not loading images, only for the staff to not listen or attempt to fix it. I'm leaving this negative review because of my experiences with them being challenging. Pixpa is for people who don't want to take their business seriously.

- It works most of the time - Kind of affordable but a poor quality product for the money given the headaches - Simple until things go wrong, which happens regularly - Great if you don't want to take a business seriously - Good for side hustles that can be second tier quality
Cons:
- Poor customer service for anything remotely complicated - Customer service doesn't listen to your problems if they don't know how to fix them - Website services fail regularly - Website requires constant supervision for errors - Limited design choices - Varying upload speeds and consistentcy of service - Inability to analyze your sales in any meaningful way - Inability to aggregate customer data in any meaningful way - Many other very important but missing features - If their website services fail and lose your business money, there is zero recourse, customer support doesn't care

I loved how affordable they are and all the templates they have! I am coming from using Wix and Wix has lost their minds when it comes to their pricing but also their customer service is really bad. I have been a customer with Wix for over 10 years and Pixpa has helped me and communicated with me more in the short time I have been using them than Wix. Pixpa has amazing templates, customer service, they actually solve problems and their prices are perfect! Highly recommend! Also! I was able to work one on one with a customer service rep and he taught me so much in a short amount of time while also sending my suggestion to his team and fixing a small thing I thought could be better!
Cons:
Some of the "About Me" template pages could be a tiny bit better and more customizable! I have a bit of a long bio and I think the template I am using could be better to handle the length of the bio. I am still learning though so I may be missing something!

Their customer service is awful and their pricing for a simple portfolio has reached levels of ridiculousness

I find it is very limited in layout capabilities upon further diving in. Also, why no App for iphone

I can only speak about the client gallery, because that's the only one I use. But it works great! I've been using it for a few months as an event photographer to send large photo galleries to multiple clients. It looks neat, is easy to use, and I haven't heard any problems from clients so far.

Overall, my experience with Pixpa has been positive and I am excited about how my new webpage is looking. I did not have to do much more than just upload all my portfolio pictures and change text. All the colors and page layouts are already great.

Cons:
On the backend of the site builder, some of the features are a little tricky to find. They are there, but you just need to dig a little to find them.
