About Foxit eSign

Foxit eSign is a web-based digital signature platform for businesses of all sizes. The tool allows organizations to add documents, send it to signers for e-signatures and finally archive them. Foxit eSign offers APIs that help users integrate the solution with company’s website and other business applications.

Foxit eSign offers a collaboration feature that allows multiple team members across the globe to work on a single contract document. Documents can be started from scratch or users can upload their own documents. All document versions are managed by Foxit eSign, and the software also keeps a document history track to note the changes made by each user.

Other features offered by Foxit eSign include reusable template creation, email notifications and assignment of third-party editing rights. Contracts and other confidential documents are encrypted using 256-bit encryption. The solution is UETA, HIPAA, FINRA and ESIGN compliant to ensure a high level of security.

Great for our very small business!

We used to print, sign, scan and email our very simple agreements. And then I'd accidentally lose the files over the years. :-) This service has helped so much to keep us organized!

I love the ease of use, and responsiveness to my feedback. Easy to edit, replace files, and I LOVE that all the documents/agreements are saved in one place.

Customer Support Lacking

Overall, our Sales Representative has neglected to provide the correct package for our organization. The rep is impossible to get ahold of, has added incorrect features to our account (even after multiple confirmations). I am constantly calling the support line (after hours, because that is the only time I can get through).

It is very easy to set up forms for signature.

Cons:

It is difficult to add features (2FA) to the account. We ran out the day before a critical deadline, and there was no one available to assist me. Was promised call-backs, and never heard back from anyone. Foxit let our organization down.

Pros:

Foxit eSign is sooo easy to use. It is simple to set up templates and send to multiple signers. I LOVE that I can enforce signing sequences too. All in all, it does everything I need it to do for a fraction of the price of competitors. I send out tons of envelopes daily and it is super easy and quick.

Cons:

Sales - note this was from before the merger with Foxit, but we tried renewing with eSign Genie and were unable to get any sort of contact form their sales rep. Luckily their support team comped us envelopes until we could reach our rep. What should have taken 1 day ended up taking two weeks.

HelloSign was constantly down and causing delays in our workflow. Since switching we haven't had any issues!

Works Well for Private Practice

Overall, I am satisfied with eSign Genie. As with all things, there is a curve of learning. Because it is browser based, I can be anywhere and log in to send or review my documents.

Pros:

Overall this is a relatively easy software to use. Once you get the hang of how to add documents and Templates and recipients, it is simple enough to use. I was able to sign up for HIPPA compliance; this required the business plan. Works with Safari on my Mac. :-P

Cons:

I had issues logging in during the free trial and the first couple of times after my purchase. Support was able to fix the problem. I also like least that for my small needs, I had to purchase the largest business plan for HIPPA compliance. I thought it would be a "flat rate" to add to any Plan but it was not.

Satisfied Purchaser

The general use of the software has been positive amongst our team. The one negative that I've had was any time I've needed to work with your customer support team, it's often that I'm waiting most of the day, or even the next day before I get a response to an e-mail. Fortunately I have not needed to put in many help tickets.

Pros:

It was very easy to promote the use of the software within the organization as it's workflow was very similar to existing workflows that we already had in place. Implementation was quick and easy with every user signing themselves up painlessly and working within a few minutes.

Cons:

It can be cumbersome if you have 2 clients (Husband and wife) who both need to know about the contract, but we only need 1 signature. We've had a few examples where we've had a contract sit for a few days because the second party didn't know that it was necessary for them to sign before the contract would come back. A group contact, that would send to multiple people, but only require a signature from one of the group could be a way to handle this.

The adobe interface wasn't as friendly to new users. The bulk licensing was very restrictive (had to purchase each license separately, versus purchasing the access for the company)

Useful, easy to use, and affordable as well.

It is worth trying out and it is cheaper than other competitors. It is a quick purchase and you can use it all the time and don't need to make a subscription. It is nice because you can have it forever and just try out the e-sign process and even if you don't like it for whatever reason, at least you have a PDF program forever. It is 100% worth trying out and purchasing it.

You can purchase the Foxit software, so thus you can get purchase the e-sign program as well. In comparison that the other software they don't let you make purchases anymore. You can also get a subscription, and it is much more affordable and not as expensive as the competitors. It is worth the purchase.

Cons:

The biggest thing is it isn't as user-friendly. I used adobe before and the program is more simplified and the icons are easy to read and very legible. It needs to have more how-to-use and easy access easy to use. It might be the difference in why people prefer using adobe or other programs over Fox-it. It isn't as user-friendly and easy to pick up as other programs are.

Foxit is something you can purchase rather than adobe you have to have a subscription to it every month. You can't just outright purchase it.

I like how it was easy to create a document template that requires a signature by my patients. Patients expressed that it was easy to read and sign without difficulty.

The ease of functionality as well as the quality of file retained between conversions is a grand selling point

Cons:

Slightly pricy and based on monthly subscriptions. Give me a lifetime access option at least, nobody wants your incremental neoliberal wallet scraping.

eSign easy and works

It's been good. It's allowed me to add an electronic agreement online or send agreements for signature without breaking the bank.

- Easy to Use - Didn't force me into a year contract like Adobe (only slightly more for month-to-month before wanting to make an annual commitment) - Has Web Form to put agreements online - You can set the user permission to edit fields, fill & sign, or view only - They continually update their offering to make it better

Cons:

- Users can't redline the agreements, but I was told this is being added (but Users can comment and you do receive an email) - You can't turn off to not send the user an email when an agreement is void, but the work around is to change the user and the time frame when a message is sent (I expect this feature will be added)
