About SMTP2GO

SMTP2GO is a cloud-based email delivery platform that helps deliver and track emails. Its features include setup assistance, feedback loops, blacklist monitoring, spam trap detection, real-time analytics, weekly summaries and bounce/spam tracking. Support is available 24x7 via ticket support, live chat, and phone.

SMTP2GO provides visual reports, which help users to understand real-time responses of emails sent from user infrastructure. The solution helps users' emails stay away from blacklists and spam folders and notifies them whenever it detects any problem in account such as an increase in bounce rate. Additionally, it also avoids arbitrary throttling with the help of ISP or website SMTP services.

SMTP2GO helps deal with blocklist monitoring, reverse DNS, DKIM, ISP throttling, blocked ports and feedback loops with major email providers such as Yahoo, AOL and Hotmail.

SMTP2GO is the best choice for SMBs looking for outgoing email

I used SMTP2GO to improve deliverability, and it has delivered on that.

Pros:

I was having issues with sending outbound email from my home address, even though I was using a GSuite domain and Google's SMTP services. SMTP2GO provides a simple SMTP endpoint with clean IP addresses that I can use to deliver mail with nearly 100% success. They offer 2FA for security, all the modern email authentication signatures (DKIM, etc), and enough monitoring for my use.

Cons:

I could not think of a single con with the service, but they do not offer the ability to add or remove headers that pass through their SMTP service, which may be a problem if you need that functionality.

Great product, very reliable!

Overall I am very happy with smtp2go and would recommend them to other users. The product is reliable and offers great troubleshooting tools.

The interface is smooth and easy to use. I like the reports and how easy it was to find specific emails. Great for troubleshooting.

Cons:

It did take me a bit of time to understand the smtp lingo. Sometimes emails bounced but I couldn't quite tell why.

Reasons for switching to SMTP2GO

SMTP2GO offered more flexibility and was easier to program for relays.

Provides SMTP on the go which is great for temporary email solutions

Cons:

Had a couple of tests with this to ensure it works via temporary email addresses. Account got blocked. Other than that, its great.

We love it !

A very nice tool ! We got a lot value for money ! We use it to connect all our customer scanner and MFC and some application. It's working, it's cheap so we love it !

Rarely we must wait five minutes to receive email. but it's not very often. We don't have any problem

A no-brainer: it just works!

It's been excellent. I tried two companies, and I had an issue with deliverability to Yahoo accounts with the other one! SMPT2GO had no issues. You can have multiple websites on the account, so I gradually brought other websites over to SMTP2GO. The API is easy to understand - or if you just want to use their SMTP credentials you can do that too. I've hardly needed to contact support - and once they contacted me to let me know I needed to make a tweak to improve deliverability. Overall, SMTP gives me peace of mind, meaning I'm not worrying about whether emails are making it to my customers.

Pros:

I needed to separate out my transactional emails from regular communications. I also needed to be absolutely sure that messages were being received. I'd never set up transactional email before and I didn't want a time-based free account to start with. SMTP2Go has a free plan for up to 1000 a month. That's perfect if it's going to take time to roll out. Overall, for me the best thing is that it 'just works'. That means I can concentrate on other aspects of the service we offer, rather than worry about emails not getting through.

Cons:

Really nothing. I had a couple of questions, and the support was friendly and sorted it out immediately.

The pricing for SMTP2GO was cheaper. There was also a higher threshold for test emailing.

Reasons for switching to SMTP2GO

Google was fine when the website was in its infancy. However, I needed to separate out transactional emails from my company's regular emailing with customers.

Excellent and reliable Email delivery service

Due to the bad reputation of our public IP addresses at our ISP, there were times where we couldn't send 20 emails per day as our IPs were blacklisted by all known antispam providers. we had no choice but to rely on a smart-host like SMTP2Go. we tried similar competitors but this by far was the best.

if your business relies on emails and If you are looking to enhance your email delivery and not worry about sending failures, SMTP2GO is your best choice. theirs servers are whitelisted at any Antispam service, your Email wont get bounced unless you have a typo mistake. They also provide you with brilliant reports to track every single email. support team are very helpful. several packages are available for everyone and you always upgrade/downgrade if you wish

Cons:

I never had any problems so far. except for one time when we had a few infected users sending bulk emails to invalid recipients and got us blocked. it will a bit tough to handle with the support team cause they were too strict to unblock us but to be honest they had a valid reason as our problem could have affected the other members and therefore their business. otherwise, we are happy with what have!

Reasons for switching to SMTP2GO

We had a few problems with Sendgrid, some emails were bounced for no reason and the logs didn't show enough information. Support team are always busy, and they were not suitable to our business.

Best SMTP service

Having several websites and applications that need to send emails through integration, I can create SMTP accounts for each one of them, the best thing is that I can even create subaccounts to differentiate the projects. For projects that send a lot of emails, it also allows me to create a dedicated IP, FANTASTIC!

Best transactional email service, very simple to use, you don't need to be too technical to understand and start using it. Unlike other solutions, domain validation and user creation is simple. Excellent dashboard and reporting system.

Cons:

I haven't found any weak points yet, in fact it's the solution I give 5 stars for everything!

All the solutions I've tried have demonstrated either complexity or bureaucracy to get the service up and running. SMTP2Go is the ready-to-use solution. Outstanding service and support.

Easy Integration with WordPress - It Just Works

What I like about SMTP2GO is that it was easy to get started and it just works. I searched pretty hard to find the features I wanted on a free service, and while they weren't the only organisation that fitted the bill, the others wanted me to jump through hoops to sign up. By the time I'd jumped through them, I'd already implemented SMTP2GO. We may move away at some point, but on our current level of usage the benefits of doing so would be marginal and we'd obviously have some set up and testing work to do.

SMTP2GO was amazingly easy to implement. Signing up was free, I was happy with the level of service available on the free tier and connecting it to WordPress couldn't have been simpler as they maintain a plugin to make sure all email calls go via their service. We currently combine SMTP2GO with the WeMail plugin for sending mailshots to our members, and the combination works nicely.

Cons:

The usage limits on the free tier aren't especially generous, and to stay within them when sending mail shots we have to allow the messages to send over an hour or so, which means "last minute" emails aren't an option for us. Not a big deal as we'd prefer to avoid last minute emails in any case, and now we have an extra reason to do so!

Reasons for choosing SMTP2GO

The free tier gave sufficient level of service and it was very easy to implement.

Rock solid service, great support

Very very easy. Its nice to work with people who understand the RFC's related to smtp. Also the number of outages smtp2go has had is effectively zero. My clients' perception of email delivery is that it's 100% bullet proof, and this is partly due to smtp2go's staff and service.

Pros:

Easy to set up, very very stable, staff are available and very fast to work on tickets when something is going wrong. Log levels are good (critical to determine what when wrong and who's issue (sender or receiver) it is). Interface is good, security is good. Costs are very reasonable.

Cons:

I use smtp2go for multiple customers, and i'm passing on the costs, but for the customer it can initially feel a bit like range anxiety when they don't know how much their spend is going to be, especially when they are coming off a "free" service (usually provided by their ISP). Its important to educate the customer on how crappy the "free" service is. The customer wouldn't be moving to a paid service if the free service wasn't crappy, and in my experience no ISP can or has offered what dedicated services like smtp2go can offer.

Great Experience on SMTP

I'm sending emails from 3 years by using SMTP2GO, I got each support & help from the support team & also got 95% or more inbox ratio.

Pros:

Email inbox ratio is really high & easy to access the SMTP for email sending. I can also use different user for different domain with high delivering ratio.

Cons:

Someone tried to use my SMTP user to access it. In security it should detected automatically and block them.
