Seamless, thorough Mass Mailing from the comfort of your GMail window

Makes sending mass emails for small businesses, startups, and organizations a breeze, from the comfort of your GMail browser window. Any user, from low-tech to amateur dev to more experienced dev can make powerful use of the feature set that GMass offers, for a fraction of the cost of a commercial mass-mail tool like Mailchimp. It is easy to integrate with Google Sheets, and easy to implement through the GMail extension and add-on. Maintaining an address list in Google Sheets was crucial for our organization. Online documentation is thorough, and the company provides multiple examples that should cover practically any use case that you are attempting to accomplish. Tech support is quick and efficient. After vetting many comparable services, we have come back to GMass again and again!

Cons:

This is not so much about GMass as it is about Google: You are limited to GMail's daily sending limits (500 for individual accounts; 2,000 for workspace). GMass gives you some ideas for working around this, but it's best to consider staying within the posted limits. It does not include pre-built email templates or an "email builder" like you would see in a marketing tool like SquareSpace. You are limited to what you can compose in GMail, or by building an email with HTML and importing the raw HTML in yourself. (Embedding images are another issue.) There are workarounds to both raw HTML emails and embedding images, though, and the GMass team has a thorough article about the methods you can use.

Feature set matched our needs, intergration with Google was a huge plus, price was competitive with these other services.

Time-Saving, Affordable and Easy to Use Email Marketing

I have had a great experience using GMass, it's saved me a lot of time on pitching, reporting and following up on leads.

Pros:

This year, I started my own business and was looking for a way to send mass emails through Gmail with analytics about who exactly was engaging with our pitches. Many of these services can be extremely expensive, but GMass has great value for it's monthly fee, even as we continue to grow. I like how easy it is to use and how it's integrated into Google Drive for easy contact management. It's easy to see who is clicking and opening our emails, cutting time off reporting and improving insights into where our focus should be.

Cons:

I don't have any complaints about GMass, but it can sometimes take a while to send a large batch of emails.

Reasons for switching to GMass

The price increased to where I couldn't afford it anymore and it was a service focused on CRM, which we do not need.

Handy tool

Using for monthly emails to invite and thank those who attend a network meeting. Allows the emails to appear personalized. Many respond back. Plan to use the program for more campaigns in the coming months.

Pros:

Easily personalize a large list of emails. Keeps track of opens and allows for a more robust campaign. I haven't done it yet, but like the idea of follow up emails for those who open and don't open the email.

Cons:

Unless you utilize an alternative platform. it will only send a limited number of emails daily thru gmail. Could shut down your gmail for a time. Recommend using a dedicated email address for campaigns only. Your sent box gets filled as the list sends making it harder to find other sent items. Good info provided to fix most issues and email responses are effective from support team

The program works ok. I realized that I'm basically double paying for mass email and GMass felt like it clogged my inbox. It works for plain text emails, however I didn't really find much other benefit personally. And, I regret spending the money on it. Other people have found it really useful and leaving high reviews. I'm just feeling I could have done without it.

Cons:

The customer service is awful and the website is a little bit of a run around to find your help/support answers. There is no chat function on the site nor a way to contact them. I didn't realize my subscription was still going until I got a card ping today. I immediately canceled the account and went to find customer service to ask them to stop payment since. In order to get a refund, I had to search the site. Then, you can only connect with customer service if you have GMass attached to your emails. I'd already pulled the chrome extension off my computer. Without the GMass extention, you cannot get a hold of customer service. To me, this is dishonoring to the customers that pay money monthly to use a product. For this reason, I wouldn't recommend GMass.

Fast, easy, and effective outreach tool

My overall experience with GMass has been excellent. I was able to set everything up in minutes and start sending personalized outreach right away. The tool is easy to use, very flexible, and has helped me generate real customer responses, sales, and reviews without spending hours doing manual work. It has quickly become one of the most valuable tools in my workflow.

Pros:

I love how easy and fast GMass is to set up. I was able to get my first personalized outreach campaign running within minutes. The customization options are great, and it integrates smoothly with Gmail so there is nothing new to learn and everything just works. It has already saved me a lot of time and has become one of the most efficient tools in my workflow.

Cons:

There is not much I dislike so far. The interface can feel a little dense at first because there are many features, but once you understand where everything is, it becomes much easier to use. A bit more built-in guidance for new users would be helpful, but it has not slowed me down.

GMass is worth it

I'm so glad I found GMASS. It's does more than I need at this moment and it's quite a value over the alternatives. The dev team is always adding new features and appreciates user feedback. Highly recommend.

Cons:

I've used GMASS for two months and I currently have no CONS regarding how we implement it for our org.

Lowest-price option is, for me, good enough for a 10,000 recipient sales campaign.

It allows me to make an e-mail sales campaign without much fuss. GMass keeps track of 'bounces', opt-outs, clicks. If a person opts out, GMass keeps track of this if i use the same e-mail list again.

It covers all my needs for a medium-sized e-mail campaign involving a lot of 'cold' e-mails. 10,000 recipients spaced out over a month.

Cons:

I got used to it after a couple of hours exploring it. It's not 100% user-friendly but it is 100% worth it when you finally get there.

Pros:

GMass absolutely saved me when I needed to send customized messages to our union members during a ratification vote. I appreciate how straightforward the process was. I was able to send critical information in such a small window of time. Would absolutely recommend!

Cons:

The schedule send feature was not as straightforward as I would have liked. I needed to be sure everything was set for a very specific date and time. Once I added those parameters, there was no real confirmation that I set it up correctly or was actually finished with the process.
