A game changer for a growing company, easy to use for app-resistant staff

It's alot to implement up front but it's worth it because out communication and awareness of spending in the company has improved majorly. With this app, we are finally able to justify hiring a full time heavy truck mechanic.

Pros:

Fleetio has been extremely easy to learn and implement. The learning curve was honestly minimal for our team. Everything is laid out in a way that makes sense, and even our truck drivers picked it up quickly without needing constant help. We really appreciate how strong the maintenance and inspections features are. Our mechanics are hesitant about apps, but they are right into it. For a company running trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment, having everything organized in one place feels like a lifesaver, especially since we were flying blind before. Security-wise, we have never had a concern, the system feels stable, safe, and professional. Overall, the value for money is solid. It does exactly what it says it does and saves us all time.

Cons:

Nothing major. We’ve run into a couple very small bugs and issues here and there, but nothing that slowed us down or made the software unusable. They were more small quirks than real problems, and they get sorted quickly. You just had to restart the app or the phone.

Reasons for choosing Fleetio

Arbostar just wasn't a smooth experience. Jobber doesn't have enough features. Fleetio is nice because it specializes in fleet management and inventory.

Fleetio Fleet Management

It is much easier to track maintenance, inspections, fuel, and vehicle health in one place. The dashboard also make it very easy to see certain aspects of your fleet and is very easy to stay on top of things because of the daily reminders.

Pros:

What I liked the most about Fleetio was the automated maintenance reminders, service history tracking, and integration with shops. It helps fleets reduce downtime and stay compliant. Also the reporting side of Fleetio is very helpful and gives important analytics.

Cons:

Some workflows seem locked in and are nit fully customizable where you can make the report to your personal liking. Also some of Fleetios inventory is too basic for high volume

Reasons for choosing Fleetio

We actually switched from Fleetio to Samsara due to pricing and in hindsight Fleetio offered more.

I like the integration of maintenance records. You can upload a receipt, and it automatically inputs the information.

Cons:

At times, company vehicles somehow get removed from the inspection lists. It is difficult to add new vehicles to the inspection lists.

The overall experience is amazing if you have a fleet of vehicles you need to try Fleetio as there is not other program on the market that can compare to the tools and integrations Fleetio has to offer.

Fleetio has many integrations to utilize to create a best fuel and maintenance software for transportation fleets.

Cons:

There is nothing that Fleetio has that doesn’t function on there software, everything that works great hand and hand to create a simple to use platform.

Reasons for choosing Fleetio

They have the most advanced features with not having to change ELD providers and they connect to all of the leading ELD providers in the industry. They are able to connect all leading fuel cards and maintenance plans to keep all records and reports in one location to provide detailed reports and analytics just for fleet repairs and maintenance.

Fleetio has made managing our fleet much easier. It keeps all our data in one place, helps us stay on top of maintenance, and saves time on tasks like tracking fuel and repairs. What I appreciated most about Fleetio is its ability to centralize and simplify complex fleet operations. The intuitive dashboard, automated maintenance tracking, and real-time asset visibility allow for faster decision-making and more proactive management. Pros:

I like that Fleetio captures the needs of fleet management all in one system. Everything from acquisition to disposal can be tracked inside the system, giving my team and me valuable information and insight into making better informed decisions.

Cons:

My only complaint is that I wish the work center sections would talk to each other better. For example, the workorders should have a "working" parts section where you can order parts and get parts updated straight from the work order. I don't feel those sections should work solely independently. Workorders drive parts, not the other way around.

Reasons for switching to Fleetio

Outgrew the system and is not cloud-based.

The best program for Fleet Maintenance

We use it for our Fleet maintenance, and it is so easy to use. Anyone with no computer experience would be able to easily maneuver through the program

The customization and its very user friendly. We meet with other vendors and always suggest they use Fleetio as a website template

There is nothing I dislike about Fleetio. I wish more Fleet programs would be this easy to use and follow in Fleetio footsteps with design, ease and the customization
