About Oracle E-Business Suite

Oracle E-Business Suite supports today’s evolving business models, drives productivity, and meets the demands of the modern mobile user. The solution continues to deliver new application functionality and expand the capabilities of existing features while helping you gain all the benefits of Oracle Cloud.

Oracle E-Business Suite is a cloud-based suite containing integrated, global business applications that enable organizations to make decisions and manage costs of operations. The suite also includes on-premise customer relationship management (CRM) solution designed to help sales, service and marketing departments make information-driven decisions and manage costs and performance.

Built on an open, standards-based architecture, E-Business Suite CRM helps streamline business processes and allows key divisions to draw references from the same source of data. Sales applications include sales force automation, sales order management and channel management. Marketing applications include marketing automation, marketing resource management and tradeshow management. Service applications include customer service, field service, call center and self-service.

I like how fast the program runs. The quality of the software is higher compared to other ones I’ve used previously.

Cons:

I don’t like how the user interface may be confusing at times. The program has many features that become difficult to use. However, with practice, I eventually learn how to use it well.

Best On-Prem ERP

I have been an EBS implementer for more than 10yrs and having worked across multiple ERP applications, I think EBS provides a lot of functionalities that help automate your entire backoffice.

The plathora of features that it provides and the single platform for all your ERP (HCM, Supply Chain, Financials, Projects) needs is incredible and ends up giving a seamless user experience without having to spend a ton of money on integrations and upkeep!

Cons:

This is an on-prem application, so it requires some dedicated Database Administrators however there are services which will provide hosting options for this. If you’re in market for a new ERP, then the Cloud based Fusion Applications might be a better suited option.

Oracle updates quickly when inventory of product changes, whether the product was received or used in a larger project.

Cons:

Oracle requires you to navigate multiple pages to find all the information you might need. Though the level of information is abundant, it’s difficult to track all information about a certain project or product when you have to explore various pages to connect all the dots.

It's a corporate level business solution, the number of options and specifications that you can choose from is just tremendous, covering almost all the cases that you might search for.

Cons:

when dealing with a small business, it acts just fine, but when we are talking about huge numbers, you need a support team behind it, cause the workflow gets complicated and you get overwhelmed by the number of transitions and statuses, and the customer pipeline get really really long, so in short, unless you get a professional support behind it to assets the business needs, it would be hard to deal with it.

Its a good software

Oracle's software is powerful, especially their databases and ERPs. They handle large-scale operations and security really well. However, it's no secret they're expensive and can be complex to manage. Plus, their sales approach isn't always the most user-friendly.

Good Tool but thats it

It was good but definitely could be improved. Oracle will perform its duties very well but will leave you hanging sometimes. Should be more intuitive, and easy to handle between teams.

E-Business Suite packs a lot of features that will surely allow for the pristine performance of your institution. However. It will get the job done. Sometimes, that's it, you just need something that works.

Cons:

On the other hand, it becomes a sluggish performer of its duties. The software needs to be updated to the eyes, and the interface should definitely be taken care of. It is not a good option if you're looking for innovation and an updated feel.
