About Imprivata OneSign

Imprivata OneSign is a single sign-on (SSO) platform, which helps small to large healthcare organizations provide physicians with secured access to clinical and administrative applications distributed across on-premise or cloud environments.

It comes with a GUI based profile generator tool, which allows administrators to prepare SSO profiles and implement new applications. It lets supervisors automate password adjustments and set up policies according to single user or groups. Imprivata OneSign lets IT teams automatically launch or close apps when a user checks in. With its self-service password management functionality, professionals can reset credentials using a Q&A based reset method. Staff members can also access systems via biometric identification or card reading authentication.

Imprivata OneSign offers integration with several third-party EHR’s or clinical applications. Pricing is available on request and support is extended via documentation and phone.

That I am able to sign in anywhere with my badge using Imprivata Onesign. not only does all of my information will be available from anywhere in the system but it does so with ease and only one click.

Cons:

Nothing. i think its a easy tool to use for such a big company not track and sign in on base and on any network within that base.

This software has elevated my job and made it easier to log in and out of computers. I use my badge to tap, and the computer pulls my log in up. The system assists in my daily tasks.

The software can glitch and take time loading information especially if it's your first badge in for the day.

Imprivata OneSign is great!

I use Imprivata daily and the amount of time it saves is incredible. Especially when multiple people have access to different computers, one easy badge in logs you in and pulls up your personal preferences and access.

Cons:

Following are the sticky points which should worked upon by Imprivata for better customer experience - Imprivata provides fixed set of out of the box reports. Admin / End Users were not able to create their own customized reports. Hardened Imprivata Appliance (due to security point of view) makes it difficult get back end data. Needs to contact Imprivata Support team. Product is more suited for Health Care Domain; therefore IT team of other domains will not be able to utilize all the Imprivata out of Box functionalities. Any new development takes a longer time of implementation from Imprivata.

Having software auto login is incredibly useful and time saving.

Cons:

The system does such a good job of managing passwords that I feel lost without it. We have also found that it conflicts with some software that already has an auto login feature.

Pros:

Easy to manage passwords. It is linked to my work badge allowing me to "badge in" and "badge out" of any computer within our network. Secured with a simple personalized pin allows quick access. No more getting locked out due to multiple failed attempts to remember passwords!

Cons:

The badge feature sometimes gets stuck. It will allow me to badge in but occasionally stops locking correctly when trying to badge out. A simple restart fixes the issue but it's somewhat annoying.
