About Flowtrac

Flowtrac is a cloud-based and on-premises warehouse management solution that helps companies manage their Inventory, Assets, Warehouse, Work In Process, and other specialty tracking requirements. The solution is suitable and deployed in Commercial, Government, Higher Education, and Humanitarian organizations all over the world. Users can access the system via desktops, tablets, or mobile devices. Key features include stand-alone inventory tracking by Quantity, Lot and Quantity as well as unique Serial-Tag tracking. Product additional features include Kitting, Bill of Materials, Bill of Labor, Interchanges, Multi-U.O.M., Multi-Lingual, Multi-Location, Min-Max. User defined "Flex" fields provide the ability to add other fields of information to a Product or Transaction. Demand forecasting, replenishment, inventory optimization and reporting can also be offered within an integrated suite.

FlowTrac offers modifications and customizations to the package's functionality upon Your request, allowing businesses of varying sizes and specialties, to tailor the solution to fit their needs. Other features include a dashboard, email triggers and enterprise-level security.

A flexible tool that works really well, but needs some UX improvements

According to my tests, Flowtrac has been a solid tool overall, especially if you need a system that can adapt to the way your business works. I find this extremly useful these days. In terms of value, it offers a good amount of functionality for the price, particularly for teams that rely on customized workflows or fields. It’s not the easy to use at first, but once you understand how it’s structured, it becomes much more manageable. That's why I recommend some kind of UX review in that part. Day to day, the inventory management features are definitely one of its strengths. Tracking, adjustments, and reporting work smoothly once everything is set up. Order management also performs well, although some processes can feel a bit rigid unless you customize them. I’ve also run into a few minor bugs, nothing major, but slowness when aplying some filters applying filters. Even so, the level of customization makes up for it. You can tailor almost everything, from fields to entire workflows, which makes the system very versatile

The flexibility. Being able to customize the system so deeply is a huge advantage and not something you find in every inventory platform.

Cons:

The learning curve is noticeable. You need some time to get comfortable with it. And those occasional bugs can be a bit frustrating when you’re trying to work quickly.

What stood out most about Flowtrac was its high level of customization. The system allows users to tailor features to fit specific business needs, which is especially useful for companies with unique inventory or workflow requirements. Additionally, their customer support team is responsive and willing to walk you through issues in a timely and detailed manner.

Cons:

Great System for Your Inventory Needs

Overall, my experience in using Flowtrac was great. Once you learn it, the system is easy to navigate, and it works well for pretty much any size business. Customer service was also very helpful.

Cons:

Pros:

I have definitely enjoyed implementing Flowtrac into our workflow. It has been so convenient having the barcodes. It makes everything so much more seamless!

Cons:

There have been no cons with using Flowtrac. The only comments we have heard are that sometimes there is trouble with scanning the barcode but it is such a simple fix that it is not a problem.

Great for inventory management and designing barcodes for products . And scaning products to sell and ship out.

Cons:

It don't cover purchase requisition and sourcing. It just a software that's only for scanning products and inventory management

Pros:

The Dashboard. Having the ability to see the products, where they live, and the activity of the items is amazing. So is having the ability to use a scangun, tablet or phone to be able to log items is awesome.

Cons:

There are a lot of screens that you will need to go through in order to be able to see the activity and the product history.
