It's a very intuitive platform to use, easy to run reports, proxy in as a participant, and drop off and pick up files.

Cons:

There are too many restrictions on making updates as an administrator. Many changes must go through the service team.

Pros:

Through many bugs and a painful login and re-authentication process every single time I access the platform, I have been able to exercise my options through Certent.

Cons:

They take something that is already difficult for many people to understand and make it worse by having a terrible UI, and login and authentication process

representative is responsive to my queries and usually able to resolve or bring in the right contact to help resolve

Cons:

Certain reports could be better - example the accrued expense report, the net expense column is on the far right side of the report (about 50 columns over) and so every time you have to pull it forward for easy visability

My overall experience with Certent Equity Management has been excellent, from implementation to transactions to reporting. The bi-weekly meetings with [sensitive content hidden] are very helpful to ensure I'm not missing anything in my submissions, and she is quite familiar with my participants and any special circumstances/situations our company has.

The Certent Equity Management team is always available, and having them process the transactions takes so much pressure off me. Being someone used to being hands-on in every aspect of things, it's not easy for me to turn things over to someone else to handle (i.e., processing vests) so it speaks volumes that I trust and am comfortable with Certent handling all of that type of work, leaving me able to focus on other things. [sensitive content hidden] (the Principal Client Services Manager) and Certent's Plan Administration team are subject matter experts, respond quickly, ask the right questions if needed and provide for seamless transactions.

Cons:

It's sometimes a little challenging to determine what is the right report to run when I'm doing ad hoc analysis, so sometimes there's a bit more "trial and error" than I would like. On the plus side, once I determine which reports I'm looking for, I'm able to label them as favorites.

Useful and user friendly stock comp tool

Overall, we are pleased with Certent. Their website is easy to navigate and we are able to get our monthly expense and all of our quarterly disclosures from their reports. Their support staff is great.
