Using our software is a breeze. Users simply select their desired career path, choose from a comprehensive library of over 100 built-in job families, and assign relevant evaluation factor levels to determine job requirements. Each career path encompasses common evaluation factors, such as professional knowledge and communication abilities, as well as path-specific factors. By leveraging these selections, our system cal...

culates a job grade from 25 available options. It then combines the evaluation results with a global job family and translates the information into job codes sourced from multiple compensation surveys. gradar offers more than just job evaluation capabilities. Users have access to both global reward surveys and local salary benchmark studies, allowing them to make informed decisions. Agile System for Job Evaluation and Career Paths

I use the gradar tool to support many different talent and pay programs such as compensation benchmarking, career architecture and job competency management. Gradar contains a new point factor approach that is easy to use and more effective than legacy models. The methodology removes much of the subjectivity of traditional approaches. I feel more confident knowing that business decisions are backed up with a robust data set.

Many of my clients find that jobs with the same title have a significantly different scope and responsibilities at various locations. The gradar tool helps identify these differences and places these appropriately in the pay structure. The application of this tool has repaid itself tenfold by simply putting jobs in their proper alignment. My clients have saved over 3% of their pay budgets by using gradar to level jobs and target pay more effectively. Gradar allows companies to create a critical job infrastructure that helps attract and retain the best talent.
Cons:
I have only had positive feedback on the system. I love to use the system and my clients love it too. The customer support and expertise behind the platform is world class. Gradar is a global tool that can easily be utilized with little training and oversite which makes it ideal for multinational companies.

Reasons for switching to gradar

I used some of the legacy tools available in the market and found them to be overly complex and tied to their expensive consulting and training packages. Some large consulting firms offer their own point factor tool as a way to cross-sell their other products. I found myself frustrated with the limited expertise and junior support assigned to the project.
