About CaseFox
CaseFox is a cloud-based billing and practice management solution for attorneys, CPAs, consultants, investigators, and other legal professionals. It is best suited for solo to large-sized firms that are looking to streamline time tracking, invoice generation, and case management. This solution provides time-saving features to efficiently manage all client data and documents from one centralized platform. A CaseFox mobile app is available for iOS and Android devices.
The platform includes tools to simplify timekeeping and expense tracking for billable and non-billable hours, including a desktop timer and a quick time entry feature. Legal teams can categorize time entries by attaching UTBMS codes and track tasks using LEDES invoicing. Time entry notes can be exported as PDF and Excel files. CaseFox also supports custom field creation that can be utilized to securely store and encrypt case and client data as needed. Other features include AI document generation & analysis, event/task calendar, hourly rate management, one-click invoicing and payment receipts, a client portal, an analytics dashboard, plus more.

The Best Case Management / Billing software on the market (for the price), Hands Down!

Originally when we were searching for a case management/billing software, I tried about 20 different software's. CaseFox is hands down the easiest, well organized, versatile, customizable one I tried in our price range. We only use about 75% of the features (it's a very diverse system) and it handles all of our cases with ease. My firm currently operates out of 5 states, several employees and hundreds of open cases at a time. CF's down time is virtually nonexistent. When you email support, they get back to you typically within minuets. For the price (from my research, 60-80% cheaper than most others), the quality, the easy of use, OUTSTANDING customer service, diversity and customization... It's hands down the most underrated software on the market. Your doing your company and team a disservice if you don't at least try Casefox.

With some tweaks, CaseFox would work better for forensic investigators and expert witnesses.

Lifesaver Starting a Small/Solo Firm

CaseFox has made it possible for me to have a case management software while practicing as a part-time solo. Growing the practice is much slower than if it was my primary job/income. I would be using Word for invoices, Excel for time-keeping, and "Ctrl-F" for conflict checking if I never found CaseFox.

Not sure what the issue was. We have been in the business since 2011 and always excelled in customer service and resolutions if we were apprised of issues. CaseFox doesn't sync with Clio, there is no reason for that. In addition to syncing with external calendars, CaseFox also provides its own calendaring including separate reminders starting from a few days prior to the appointments so no deadline is missed.

More can be done. There is need to make the document management more robust. Secondly the reports available that can be generated is limiting. We need to be able to review upto 3 to 5 years of performance.
