Great Tool To Sync With Google Drive But Lacks The Features Needed For A Full LMS

Overall, Google Classroom is a really great tool to enhance learning in class for students and is compatible with web and mobile. Google could consider adding features like overall course grades for it to be an LMS that educational institutions formally adopt.

Pros:

The UI is intuitive and works perfectly with modern day web browsers and phones. Additionally, it is easy to submit assignments in your Google Drive for your teacher to grade and give feedback.

Cons:

You can only submit assignments directly from Google Drive and can't upload any files from non Google products like Microsoft or pdfs not in your Google Drive. Additionally, there is no option to display your overall course grade for it to be adopted as a fully functional LMS for a school.

Google Classroom is a Helpful Online Tool for Classroom

Overall, Google Classroom is a great online tool to organize and release information. It is helpful for all the students to have an online copy, and keep track of what we did in class each day if they were absent.

Pros:

The announcement tab is very streamline and is where my students get most of their information. The classwork tab is helpful to organize topics and units.

Cons:

I don't like how hard it is to input marks for each student. I wish there was also a way to organize the people into groups as well for a group assignment online. (like the Canvas feature)

used for a course

i have only been using google classroom weekly for a course. It was a little tough to learn the layout and where to go for different tasks, like sharing, submitting assignments etc. But once became familiar, it seems pretty straight forward. Overall good platform for courses.

It is easy to share content and work on group projects in a virtual setting. Also easy to add content, images, other documents that can also be shared by many in the same file

Cons:

it can only be used online, therefore cant work on a project of line with option to connect and share. However content can be uploaded from another document.

Google Classroom: a smart classroom companion.

My overall experience with Google classroom has been great. I have been using it since my lower grades. Specially, it was really helpful during the pandemic times. It provides easy and simple accessibility, making it simple for anybody to understand. Also, our progress and assignments can be tracked.

Pros:

Google Classroom is an excellent, free platform for managing online classes and assignments. Its core features are free and integrated with Google workspace tools like Docs, Drive and Meet. The ease of use is impressive as teachers and students can easily share notes, upload assignments and communicate in real time. The user interface is clean, convenient and easy to navigate. It is very easy and simple to upload materials and track progress. Customer support is mostly handled through forums, which can be slow to resolve issues. There are occasional bugs, such as delays in loading or syncing assignments.

Cons:

It provides limited customization for students as well as teachers. Occasional technical glitches can be faced by users. Slow customer support response.

Google Classroom Archive Downsides

It's seamless for when you use it, but I feel like it adds extra clutter to my workspace in the long run. I don't need things from 5 years ago in an archive. If I do go in to a class from years past, it just seems a big jumble of old classes. I wish I could nest them or something (similar to email folders). Maybe you can, but it doesn't seem intuitive.

I really like the ability to add kids to a class and send out one link and have everything covered. It cuts way down on communication with kids and parents. Most times I don't even send anything out; they know the classroom after they enter the verification code, and they can go to the page on their own to see what it is that I have added.

Cons:

I don't like how it never deleted your old classes but instead archives them forever. You can hide them, but I'd like the ability to just delete them.

Reasons for switching to Google Classroom

Easier to figure out the interface and kids were already familiar wit it from other schools.

Google Classroom Superior platform

I have used Google Classroom for about 3 years. I find it super easy to communcate with student. Keeps material safe, and organized. Easy upload, easy access to google suite apps/links.

So much easier to use than Schoology. Easily connect to the Google Suite. Nothing you cant figure out on your own.

A good basic

Still sloppy in handling message board text. Grade system improvable. Lacks a personal file where student information can be reviewed and notes taken if necessary.

One of the Best Online School !!!

My overall experience with Google Classroom has been largely positive. What I like most about Google Classroom is that it streamlines the management of classes by allowing teachers to digitally organize, distribute, and collect assignments and course materials. This reduces the administrative burden on teachers and keeps everything neatly organized and the integration with other Google tools, such as Google Docs, Sheets, and Meet.

Cons:

What I like least is just the inability to schedule assignments for multiple classes simultaneously.

Reasons for switching to Google Classroom

It is a very bad platform for online learning. I don't advise anyone to use it. The Mentors do not know anything and they can't help you when you have a problem. They don't reply to your messages when you write and they don't even call even when they promise they will. Their platform is bad and in their videos, they make many mistakes. They give you the wrong information when they decide to get back to you just to delay you so that you will continue paying. They don't care about you or about your success. They just want money. I regrated passing through them. My advice is don't waste your money and time registering with them.
