About AppFollow
AppFollow is a cloud-based App Store Optimization (ASO) solution that helps businesses in the gaming, telecommunications, eCommerce, transport, financial services, and healthcare industries. The platform provides tools for workflow automation, review management, performance monitoring, competitor analysis and more.
Businesses can utilize the platform to track customer sentiments, analyze trends, organize customer insights, translate keywords, and categorize reviews using tags through a single dashboard. AppFollow enables users to build custom integrations, track app revenue, gain insight into competitor strategies, analyze ratings, reviews or visibility dynamics, and receive reports as well as notifications via email or Slack. Additionally, it provides an AI-enabled review management module that helps administrators process reviews and customize replies facilitating customer satisfaction.

Awesome free tool... Wouldn't pay for it though

AppFollow is used by our mobile app company evaluating our app store metadata and keyword positions in both the Android and iOS app stores. We also have AppFollow integrated with Slack therefore we are able to get real-time app reviews on our product. Currently, only our marketing department uses AppFollow ASO research and tests. AppFollow for us addresses our all our app store needs from benchmarking against competitors to viewing our rankings in international markets, and integrating with other business apps and sending email detailed reports.

Reasons for choosing AppFollow
While App Annie is extremely robust and pulls in data from acquisition channels, app stores, and elsewhere, it can be quite overwhelming at times. If you are looking for more simple and just keyword positioning then definitely look at AppFollow. Apart from the two platforms themselves, I've had numerous contact experiences with both AppFollow and App Annie. The winner is definitely AppFollow with a less aggressive approach and a higher willingness to go above and beyond to make sure all questions are answered. With App Annie I was bombarded with a ton of sleazy, sales emails to purchase their product.
