About Google Workspace

Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) is a cloud-based suite of collaboration and document management tools designed to help businesses manage video meetings, presentations, multi-person video calls and live streaming. Key features include access control, real-time chat, presentation streaming, two-way audio and video, private chat, calendar management, real-time editing, mobile access and content management.

Teams using Google Workspace can set up meetings and share links with staff members, clients or customers to facilitate communication. Participants can join meetings directly from a Google Calendar event or an email invite that includes all details about the event. Additionally, it offers a dial-in functionality, which enables employees to join meetings without an internet connection.

Google Workspace facilitates voice and video conferencing through Google Meet, with support for up to 250 participants. Pricing is available on monthly subscriptions and support is extended via documentation, FAQs, forum and other online measures.

While there are moments when the internet connection affects performance or Drive becomes messy without good organization, the platform as a whole makes teamwork simpler and more efficient

What I like most about Google Workspace is how easy it is to collaborate thanks to the seamless integration between Gmail, Drive, Docs, Calendar, and Meet. Everything works together smoothly, so sharing files, editing in real time, and organizing tasks or meetings becomes very efficient. The interface is intuitive, cloud storage works reliably, and the overall value for money is strong for teams that need constant communication and access from any device.
Cons:
What I like least is that some features rely heavily on having a stable internet connection, and when the network is slow, you can feel it in document loading times or video call quality. Drive can get messy if folders aren’t organized well from the start, and customer support sometimes gives generic answers. Also, for more advanced project management, you usually need to integrate external tools.

I find Google Workspace incredibly easy to use! I love the way it seamlessly connects across devices and how easy it is to work collaboratively with others.
Cons:
I wish there were a project management system integrated into Google. Tasks is okay, but I'd like something more like Asana to help me manage projects!

I wish that there were cheaper options for users who do not need the entire suite of tools - Currently, you pay for everything, even if you don't use everything.

One stop shop - full team collaboration

Always used outlook at PST data files for my company of 10 employees. The amount of tech support we needed with outgoing and incoming server issues, loss of emails and the mess we made whenever we had to set up a new compuyter and transfer over the employees previous data file. Workspace allowed us to set up all our emails in the cloud for access from anywhere. Also we were able to make distribution lists for general mail boxes for full visibility. All in all, its added a layer of collaboration to our workplace that has become extremely beneficial.

Was sick of transferring email data files for new computers, was losing data. Switched to Workspace and was able to organize and host all my companies email addreses, while also sharing calendars and forms. The thing I like most is that we can access our emails from anywhere using the gmail web app.
Cons:
The price is higher than what I was paying before but the peace of mind we get from the service warrants the spend.

What I like most is it makes communication and collaboration easy. Gmail, Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets all work together , which makes it simple to share information and keep files organized. It’s very convenient to access everything from anywhere, and multiple people can work on the same document at the same time. I can take my office with me on the go and have everything with me.
Cons:
It can take some time to learn where admin settings are located. Very Minor syncing or formatting differences when sharing documents with people using other software.

It's easy to use and has one of the best documentations for this type of product I've ever seen. It's easy to set up and to change settings based on your company needs.
Cons:
Honestly, I don't have much to talk about what I didn't like. Maybe the price is not the most competitive, but it granted our organization with everything we were expecting.

There have been some random bugs in Google Docs that I have found, but overall, there are fewer features in Google Workspace than the programs of its competitors.

No labeling feature unless you keep upgrading

Not great. I upgraded to the get the labeling feature and found out I would have to upgrade again just to get this one feature.

It gives more space and has options for customizing administrative functions the free account such as security standards and a custom domain name.
Cons:
Access to the labels feature is only available at higher levels of upgrading. Why they are creating such a barrier to such a simple functionality is beyond me. I upgraded just to get this feature only to find out I wasn't at a high enough level.

Microsoft is even worse. Google is better but seriously needs a user experience update.
