- I loved it because it allowed me to write my complete medical note, including the chief complaint, history & physical, mental status exam, and treatment plans.
- In the last year we have had 3 major issues of a pop-up error message that would interrupt med pass, Medications not synching between DrFirst and the MAR that was determined to be due to data stored in inactive staff names, meds not synching again that had to do with character limits in data fields on the back end, and now PRNs being removed from the MAR despite being active.
- I am a private practitioner and have used lots of different EMR systems - BestNotes, TheraNest, Simple Practice, and PracticeQ. I think Sessions Health is the best value, as it includes most, if not all, of the features of the high end systems, but at a much lower cost.
- The billing tasks, i.e. uploading insurance and payment cards, on the client portal is not so intuitive and clients often miss it initially.
