About Forcepoint Web Security

Forcepoint Web Security is a network protection solution that provides businesses in healthcare, retail, finance and other sectors with protection against web threats including viruses, malware, data loss and phishing attacks. The CASB functionality enables administrators to gain visibility and control of cloud applications across the organization.

Features of Forcepoint Web Security include reputation analysis, predictive analytics, behavioral sandboxing, content classification, reporting and more. It comes with an integrated data theft defense module, which enables IT teams to automatically detect and intercept data theft attempts for file passwords, data leaks and optical character recognition of text within images. Additionally, stakeholders can utilize the content engine to analyze web page content, contextual profiles, active scripts and website links.

The Forcepoint Web Security’s data loss prevention (DLP) platform provides added outbound protection against data theft, maintaining regulatory compliance. Pricing is available on request and support is extended via online measures.

Forcepoint support team is very stong and knowledgable. Our Every question is solved include sql query. Database is useable and we can write a lot of query on database and integrated other system.

we use DLP 8.5.1.66 version all modüle. we use protector, MTA protector and Endpoint management server. All of them same version

Finalmente siamo riusciti a controllare e filtrare siti in https cosa che non riuscivamo con il semplice firewall. The software is very easy to set up and use once deployed. The user interface is pretty straight forward and pretty basic to use.

Cons:

Forcepoint has really gotten worse with the years. Features could be a lot better and more granular. The solution is very expensive compared to their competitors and they make you pay extra for malware detection.

It's Functionality, firewalling, GUI, VPN, everything is best in this Forcepoint firewall.

Cons:

Need to improved Reporting System, NTP issues, and hardware issue, which going in shell mode anytime.and we are not able to resolve that issue without console.

The Triton Enterprise package continues to be the backbone (single pane of glass) for that ties all their solutions into a polished gem. Its great if you own a number of Forcepoint solutions to be able to access them all from a single unified console.

Cons:

You need robust hardware on the database side to ensure the front-end performance does not suffer. Wish they had a appliance model of this as well vs. running on windows.

Forcepoint web security product is a product that helps us limit the internet access of our company users especially within the scope of corporate information security policy. You can write group, ip or user based rules with the product. It has over 60 categories.

Cons:

real time monitoring screen is not very flexible. After the filter is put, the filter disappears when you go to the other page.

The software helps you to keep your network secure. It also delivers performance for email and web traffic.

Cons:

It is complex to configure. Also it is not very flexible. Transparent proxy is not possible. Proxy bypass rules have to be defined both it the proxy and in the firewall. That increases operational costs.
