DonorPerfect vs Giveffect: Which is best for you?

It meets all of my gift processing, grant writing, event planning, donor relations and communication needs. AND the DP team is very helpful and responsible when I need them.

The structure of records is lacking in certain features like household records, soft credit donations, and the ability to distinguish gifts from event registrations.

We can see who has donated, attended an event, participated in a program, volunteered--in Giveffect, our record-keeping is shared across departments and helps break down internal silos.

With so many overlapping features, it took some time to wrap my head around how our database was set up (I was not part of the team that first signed up for Giveffect at our organization), and as with any nonprofit CRM, it's easy to clutter up our data.
