    Pros:
It does offer great exchange rates. You can literally a bank account in different countries like EEUU, UK, Belgium, etc. The money transferring system is super easy to use
    Cons:
As the time pass, it has become more difficult to open a Wise Account. It does not allow Venezuelan customers to manage their cards, nor their accounts while in Venezuela, and it is a terrible deal, since you might be eventually parked at some places, and you won't be able to use your funds. The customer support is not as good as it should be. I found myself looking for Wise customer services in different countries once a particular time zone is closed. There are no physical or virtual cards for businesses in the United States, then it is super limited the money management.

    Reasons for choosing Wise

As said previously, the exchange rates and the possibility to manage the money from Europe to America is a key.

    Reasons for switching to Wise

Wise does provide the best exchange rates overall. You won't be charged maintenance fees, abroad transactions fees, or so other you would with those alternatives.

    Pros:
What I liked most about Wise is its lightning-fast transfer speeds, which were crucial for my situation. Living in Spain and managing large transfers for a house build, I needed transactions from my UK accounts to be quick, secure, and hassle-free. Wise consistently delivered—most transfers arrived in seconds, even with substantial amounts, and I never encountered a single issue. I also like Wise’s transparent and inexpensive fees, the user-friendly interface, and reliability across currencies.
    Cons:
I had one issue with my bank, but that had nothing at all to do with Wise or their service. The issue was quickly resolved and the money arrived safely and quickly.

    Cons:
Lack of integrity and transparency. i was sending money to family in another country for costly medical expenses, over a period of 7 months. i had phone conversations with Wise about this, sent detailed info when they asked. Then out of no where after using the service for 7 months. they froze my account and the recipient's. after that they would not take phone calls. they refused to explain or provide any reason or evidence. There is no question they are using falsehoods and simple innuendo, which they are passing to financial institutions here and abroad with so called investigations which turns up no evidence of contravening their terms of use, and acceptable practices. if you want to be open to arbitrary, untrue, and irresponsible blackballing THESE ARE YOUR PEOPLE.

Beware that Wise can close your account and keep your funds before the application process is complete...

    1

BEWARE: Wise closed my account without notice after asking me to deposit funds to keep the application process going. They sent me an Interac e-transfer request which I used to deposit $3,000. Then they closed the account due to not meeting their community standards and kept my money. I have been fighting with them for a week trying to get the money back. Since they closed the account before returning my funds they have no record of anything and dealing with their customer support has been an absolute nightmare, have sent and received upwards of 20 emails back and forth and still don't have my funds returned. They require a bank statement showing the account name, a record of the transaction including account numbers and payment reference numbers etc. I have given them all this numerous times now but keep getting passed around and then asked for the same things again. It's an absolute drain of my time and energy. My banking institution where the funds were deposited informed me that the reference number I gave them should be the only thing they need to reverse the deposit. This has been an excruciating process that I still don't have a resolution to after 6 days and over 20 emails back and forth with their support. This should be a simple resolution. Firstly, they should not accept money from me until my account is fully approved. Secondly, they should have returned the funds before closing the account. Lastly, according to my bank, and Interac that I have spoken to, they should only require the payment reference number to reverse the transaction, especially since they initiated the closure and their policy states that they will return the funds. This has been a horrible experience and I would never recommend Wise to anyone in Canada. I don't think their agents even understand the payment systems they use.

Our team uses Wise mainly because of the low fees, and the ability to send funds internationally in short timeframe.
    Cons:
The $2,000 daily limit on an account is probably our biggest hang-up. Payment speeds can also be unreliable, which is a huge headache whenever payments are delayed.

    Will never use it again

THEY WILL FREEZE YOUR MONEY. DO NOT USE IT! I've been using Wise for a long time without any issues. However, after not using it for over a year I so, I needed to make a transfer to Brazil. I updated the app and re-entered my information multiple times until I could finally initiate a transfer. But when I tried to send the money, I kept getting a message saying, "Payment Unsuccessful," with no further explanation. I tried two more times and encountered the same error. When I logged out and back in, I saw that Wise had debited my bank account three times the amount I intended to transfer. Instead of sending the money to the recipient, it was transferred to my Wise account. I called Wise, but the first person I spoke to was unhelpful. She kept repeating that the money couldn't be refunded because I hadn't called after the first failed attempt. I explained that the app only said "payment unsuccessful," so I thought it was fine to try again. She suggested I transfer the money back to my bank account, but I didn't think I should have to pay a fee for that since I had to transfer back to my account due to a glitch on the app. She also replied to convincing me to keep the money there to use to pay other things and I told her I don't need to make other transfers and I will not use it for other things since I can use my regular credt card and not pay transfer/transfer fees. I use Wise strictly for international transfers. She acknowledged that there was a glitch, which had since been resolved, but still refused to refund my money. When I asked to speak to a manager, she refused, saying there wasn't one available and that I should try calling later, but she couldn't guarantee I'd reach a manager. I hung up and called again. The second person I spoke to was more helpful. Although I still could not talk with a manager she escalated the issue and also asked if I had tried transferring the money back to my account. I told her I hadn't, and I explained why. While she put me on hold, I tried transferring again, as the previous agent said the glitch was fixed. Once more, the money was transferred to my Wise account, and I got the same "payment unsuccessful" message. At this point, while still one the phone, I decided to transfer the money back to my bank account since I'd already been charged four times the amount I wanted to transfer. I planned to request a refund for the fee, as this whole situation was due to their glitch. However, when I tried to transfer the money back, I kept getting stuck on the screen asking me to review the transaction. My money is now stuck in my Wise account with a "sending pending" status, and I can't complete the transaction. The second agent said it would be resolved in 1-2 business days, but all I received was an email saying it could take up to 14 business days to resolve. The money has already been taken from my bank account, so why is it so hard for them to issue a refund when they know there was a glitch? I’ve opened a dispute with my bank. This entire situation is incredibly frustrating. Thankfully, the amount isn't too large, but the fact that my money is stuck in their account is infuriating. After reading other reviews from people who experienced similar issues and were told repeatedly that their problem would be resolved in a few days, only to wait for months. I've decided I’ll no longer use Wise. See screenshots.

    Pros:
I think it is a good option to transfer money internationally, it works with a wide variety of currencies and handles very low commissions and a favorable conversion rate, transferring money from one country to another quite simple and practical, as if that were not enough, the transfers are quite fast, when transferring the money received from your Wise account to your bank account, you receive the money very quickly without complications, that way receiving international payments becomes easy, fast and secure.
    Cons:
There are services that are not yet available in all regions, such as international debit cards which would be a great help to make payments with your Wise balance, and do not have a support for electronic payments that are on other platforms, so it is only focused on international transfers but does not cover international payment to businesses as such.
