Best UI/UX asset management software

My experience using Assetbots has been very positive and I have been happy with their responsiveness to any questions we throw their way.

Pros:

The most intuitive software I’ve used for asset management. Does everything I need it to doquickly and easily. Employees were resistant to change but found it was very simple to use and helped them save time. It worked to have serial numbers of credit card POS systems linked to our clients for warranty purposes. We also use for internal equipment such as headsets, laptops and phones.

Cons:

Nothing – it has been great so far. I am very satisfied and it has met all of our inventory needs.

Assetbots is Just What We've Needed

Overall I am extremely pleased with the service that Assetbots offers. I have been able to move away from our spreadsheet and rely solely on the integration that Assetbots has with Mosyle.

I like being able to manage all of our assets in one location. This includes our apple and windows devices, in additional to laptops and tablets. It's a one stop shop.

Cons:

The initial integration was challenging, but support assisted me in sorting out those issues.

Useful tool, but data import is challenging

Importing the information and making the fields match has been a bit of a headache. I still don’t fully understand how devices, people, and locations are connected. I also need support in Spanish, but it’s only available in English

It seems easy to use, but when I upload the databases, sometimes I can’t get the fields to match, or the information gets rearranged

Cons:

There are several integration tutorials, but on YouTube I only found two videos. I can’t find a step-by-step guide or a clear explanation on how to import my existing data. The instructions always start with: create your list of employees, devices, locations, costs…

Mosyle integrated Asset Management

Definitely an upgrade over the very manual tracking we were doing to this point. Being able to automatically sync in 90% of our assets was great.

Pros:

The integration with Mosyle was great. Took a while to update in the console but that's very convenient since we are primarily an Apple device shop. The ability to add non-Apple assets is nice as long as you're willing to do the data entry. Being included in our Mosyle subscription made it a no brainer.

Cons:

Manually entering the non-Apple assets is time consuming and the initial sync from Mosyle took long enough that I wasn't sure it was working or not.

Stunning User Interface

Really great! I had a really good onboarding call with [sensitive content hidden], and he was able to answer all of my questions. I'm excited to keep adjusting it and getting it to where we need it to be!

Pros:

The UI Is BEAUTIFUL. So easy to navigate and find what you're looking for. I also really like the Mosyle integration.

Cons:

I think it has some growing to do. Integrations with other MDM's would be helpful so I can recommend it to more of my clients. Jamf would be great.

The creation of a kiosk and that we can send the agreement via email. Simple yet functional

Cons:

Is not fully sinc with Mosyle, if a asset is checked out for a user it doesn't sync with mosyle

Great modern app! Only downside is the cost.

It seemed very promising at the start. We ran into some minor limitations with permissions and it doesn't quite work for us yet, especially for the cost. But we will keep a close eye in the future and hopefully will fully migrate over.

Pros:

The interface is very clean and lines up well with what we have been searching for. All of the core functions are there, including an API and integrations with Azure/Google.

Cons:

No native mobile app. The web version has a lot of left / right table scrolling on a phone. The licensing model is very stingy when it comes to number of assets. Where most other systems give you thousands, you only get a few hundred here for the same cost.

Overall we really enjoyed the product and when compared to competitors we saw a simpler user interface, clear guidance on how to operate the app and the price was very competitive with the market.

Pros:

We liked Assetbots because it provided our team with all the necessary features they were looking for in an inventory management system. Checking in and out of a machine is made easy whether it is manually or automatically. The most important feature was the dashboard. An overall view of inventory levels and stats was the cherry on top and it will help my team to make informed decisions on asset management.

Cons:

There was one glitch we noticed with the camera scanning. It may have been just from the free trial, but when we exited out of the camera scan sometimes it would make the whole screen black and/or continue to activate the camera. The workaround we found was clicking the scanning icon again to get rid of the black screen.

Reasons for choosing Assetbots

The user interface was better, more coherent and the price was competitive. Easy to use and lots of features which we were looking for like labelling a machine as retired or in service as well as assigning machines to employees.

Pros:

Quick on delivery and responses are clear and to the point. The ability to adapt to what the client needs a a major win. This will allow Assetbots to be unique as we had requests on certain functions that no other asset management tools has or are willing to build. Assetbots was the only solution that made sense to us.

Cons:

If we could have our company branding/colors on the site that would a small bonus. otherwise we haven't found anything that we don't like.

Assetbots - best tool for asset management

Assetbots have been an extreme help in being able to track our assets in one spot. We went from having multiple spreadsheets to one online system that tracks everything! The easy use of the technology makes it easy for all of our franchises to keep things in order. My favorite feature is the timeline of each equipment. It is a wonderful way for us to know who has had what computer/monitor at what time.

Pros:

I like how easy it is to use for asset management. Previously, we have used 4 different spreadsheets to track all of our company assets. Now it is all in one spot.

Cons:

It can be difficult to get a hold of someone for assistance. Sometimes it is so much easier to do some trial and error when trying to figure out what we need.
