QuickBooks Online Advanced is a cloud-based accounting solution that helps small to large enterprises manage expenses, projects, invoices and more. It comes with a centralized dashboard, which enables users to gain insights into business trends and organizational performance using key performance indicators (KPIs).

QuickBooks Online Advanced allows administrators to assign tasks to sales representatives, grant access to specific users and collaborate on projects with team members. Users can capture digital copies of receipts and automatically sort transactions based on tax categories, improving financial operations. Additionally, it lets managers create custom estimates, manage recurring payments and export generated reports in various formats.

Very easy to create invoices, collect payments and keep all my finances organized in one location. Love it!

Just the monthly cost at times - in slower months I feel the pinch a but but overall it is on par with other services.

QuickBooks Online is Worth It

Overall it has been good, but they make too many errors when pushing their updates. It is too much sometimes.

Pros:

It was very easy to use and they constantly make updates. Our CPA is also very familiar with the product, so that made it even easier to use.

Cons:

They never send out details emails explaining their updates and how to use them. It is very confusing to sit down one day and everything has changed.

Overall we appreciate the software and the multiple features that streamlines our bookkeeping and business reports.

Intergrated employee hours with payroll, streamlines our payroll process and reduces any opportunity for errors.

Cons:

The one frustrating and time consuming void is in the payroll - it does not easily track and enter Canadian statutory holidays.

It has been average with a number of problems experinced over the last few years, some which have taken a long time to resolve.

It has been a great advancement from using manual excel sheets. It is great for sending out invoices to my customers and asking them to pay online via paypal.

Cons:

I most dislike their integration with Gocardless since it has caused us a lot of problems, although QB were quick to accept fault and offer compensation. The online payment fees through paypal is expensive.

QBO Advanced is a great tool for nonprofits or for-profit businesses

I love QBO Advanced and have used it at multiple orgs and for profit businesses. It is widely known and used and easily understood by non-finance professionals. It is still seeing updates and getting better than the original version as they try to move all users to QBO.

QBO Advanced has quick and easy reporting with so many ways to customize. It integrates easily with basically every other tool and is very easy to access.

Cons:

Some reports are not as robust as the QB Desktop versions, though this seems to be consistently improving.

Ease of use, syncs with other software's. The reports are generated easily and for the moist part very helpful.

Cons:

Having an accountant undo a reconciliation when needed. The desktop version you could reverse a reconciliation on your own.

easy to use and to get our client on board with it. Getting access to client books is easier now being able to work from anywhere is very nice

the cost has gone up a lot over the last few years and trying to bill that back to clients gets tougher

Quickbooks - must have for business accounting

Overall the software is needed for our accounting needs. It’s difficult to learn and has a few quirks but definitely a tool we can’t do without.

It keeps track of all our income and expenses and makes reporting easy. It also helps me make invoices and keeps them organized.

Cons:

It’s complicated and sometimes difficult to use and learn. I had to get a tutor to teach me how to use it.

Feature Rich

I do like it. The batch automation and real-time data are so valuable to any business. I personally felt it was too big for me. |I could definitely see how it would benefit a company larger than mine.

It has more features than the basic versions, like batch invoicing and enhanced workflow automation, that suits larger companies.

Cons:

More features means more learning, although Quick Books do provide the training. It can be overwhelming to slot into your current business.
