Pros:
I like that all of the apps are integrated and can share information easily between two or more. The ribbon navigation is great.
Cons:
It doesn't play well with others - difficult to import info from non-Microsoft products. I hate Copilot.

Pros:
It is the most used Office Suite, and it can also handle the majority of formats from other Office Suites. Most of our users feel very comfortable using this software.
Cons:
Updates are sometimes painful. I would like to choose which apps to install instead of having the all-in-one combo, and even when uninstalling manually specific apps, they are reinstalled with updates

Reasons for choosing Microsoft 365

We use both. Google Workspace is the main suite, but we have Microsoft Office 365 for more demanding team members

Pros:
Availability and integration of multiple products (document managment, email, file storage, task management, planning, MS teams) and good security features. Support is easy to access with a business plan and have been helpful.
Cons:
Complex to set up as an admin, particularly all the security features, although their support have been helpful with this. Cost is quite high, esp when needed for multiple employees.

Reasons for switching to Microsoft 365

For the online access and additional security features esp for email

All You Need when You're On the Go

Pros:
I like that it is native to our tech stack and that works very well between phone, tablet, and laptop. I enjoy having the ability to access my files on the go and ensure that they are up to date and work properly. I also like that I can quickly and securely share files with members of my team.
Cons:
It's hard to tell what is what service in Microsoft because there are so many programs that intersect. I don't always love the formatting changes that happen when I open documents in a desktop versus in its native app. A lot can change, which can be frustrating.

Reasons for choosing Microsoft 365

Hardware choices solidified the software choice, but it could go either way.

Pros:
Microsoft 365 is a core part of my daily workflow in marketing. I use it to write and edit marketing copy, organize campaign materials, build presentations, and collaborate with other departments. The integration between Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneDrive makes it easy to move between tasks without losing files or version history. Real-time collaboration and commenting are especially helpful when getting feedback or approvals.
Cons:
There are a lot of tools included, so it can feel like more than you need at first. Some features take time to learn, but once everything is set up, it becomes very efficient.
