About Stackby

Stackby is a task management solution designed to help businesses create or automate workflows, collaborate with team members and organize operations using spreadsheets, built-in integrations, templates and more. Supervisors can build custom forms with dropdown options, contact numbers, attachments or other information and embed them within corporate websites according to requirements.

Administrators can create online databases in the form of customizable spreadsheets by importing data from existing files in CSV or XLS format. Stackby allows managers to communicate with team members via chat nd add checklists or set up reminders to collaborate on tasks. Additionally, organizations can visualize data on grids, Kanban boards, calendars, galleries or forms.

Stackby facilitates integration with various third-party systems such as Mailchimp, GitHub, Instagram, Google Analytics and more. It is available on monthly or annual subscriptions and support is extended via live chat, documentation, phone and other online measures.

Pros:

The interactions between columns and between stacks makes this a really wonderful hybrid tool.

Cons:

I had really wanted to use this to replace our existing budget in Google Sheets but I tried and failed several times to get the cells to work with the same kind of formulas we rely on to do things like calculate percentages etc and it was a bit clunky. Also the only place we could get totals was at the bottom of the stack which doesn't''t translate well to a an actually readable working budget.

Reasons for choosing Stackby

Generally this is an invaluable tool. I've used airtable and Infinity and for the value and constant commitment to dynamically adapting their toolset, Stackby has been essential to track our growing list of clients and where they are in our onboarding process. Their templates are great starters and the support is prompt and efficient.there are still some growing pains but those are far outshone by the sheer utility of this software.

Pros:

The app appears promising, and it's very similar to airtable. I like that it's affordable than airtable. I am using it for monitoring applicants. If it doesn't delete my files, I will love this product.

Cons:

At first, when the records are not yet too many, I don't experience problems. Yet now, I experience it often. The product seems not yet mature, that's why it has lot of bugs and downtimes. I do hope that later on they will improve the product. For now, I still use it but I need to back up a lot.

Complete Solution to replace Airtable and like platforms

I always look to 5x my investment and I have been able to do so. The collaboration and pipeline features really help with out client alignment. Yes other platforms can do this, but for me and I am sure many others will say Stackby just works.

Pricing, Package and environment. Stackby has been a production ready platform since 2020. Many other platforms offer crazy limits but cannot deliver on production ready features. Stackby is scalable and stable.

Cons:

not as many integrations as Airtable or some newer platforms

Flexible, multifunction business tool

As an Airtable user, I was glad to see an available alternative. Stackby has ticked the boxes and exceeded my expectations. They also continue to grow and improve the service, making it even more appealing and valuable. Support has also been responsive and consistent. I highly recommend Stackby if you are looking for a well-rounded, highly customizable solution for just about any data-driven task you need to perform.

During early development, there were some missing features. But these have been added over the years. Can't think of anything missing at this time.

Stackby is great

So I've been researching different project/task management software as business is just wild right now. The app I was previously using simply doesn't have the functionality to hold up, and I tried Stackby and Airtable. While Airtable is an institution, Stackby is just as good in nearly every way, offering plenty of functions and customization, easy to learn to use, and great to keep up with. There's a few things that I want it to do that it's not doing yet, but I'm not sure whether that's because the program doesn't have the capability or because I simply haven't found it yet.

I'm not entirely sure I have yet. I still am toying with Airtable as well. Airtable has a few functions I'm looking for that Stackby doesn't seem to, but I generally prefer a lot of other things from Stackby, so I'm still exploring the full functionality so that I don't miss anything.

Monday was great, but it just didn't have the functionality I needed.

Other than those minor items, again, Loving Stackby and would recommend for HR administrative efficiencies.

New to streamlining items through Stackby fr our HR group, but thus far we have moved our COVID Mitigation tracker to Stackby and added a Employee Assessment (through Forms) that feeds into it. Additionally, we have created a Employee Loan Tracker stack as well.Loving all the features!

Cons:

Their Type conversational Form is very similar to TypeForm- which is awesome. Only slight tweaks needed:-If the Initial welcome title & description can go away once the user begins taking the survey/ completing the form (this would allow focus soley on the questions at hand.)- On laptop, if the user is completing the form with a mouse, the page seems to skip over multiple questions at the slightest touch to mouse wheel.

Was sold on the Form Features. ONce onboard with Stackby learned of the Conversational Form feature (similar to TYPEFORM)- Again...Loving this!

I am currently reviewing different apps to kick start my sole trader business. Among all the apps I have used, Stackby is one of the most intuitive ones for starters. Furthermore, its built-in integrations hold so much more potential to be more than just another cloud spreadsheet database and yet it is still adding new features.

Cons:

I'd like to see more plans or add-on options to allow small startups and beginners like myself to slowly expand and grow my database with my business. Also it will be good if data among different stacks can be accessed and shared for more flexible data management.

Stackby is hard to explain, easy to use and impossible to go without once used.

You can save a ton of cash with this product and a ton of time with their automation meets excel sheets/database api integrated insanity of a product that actually makes you feel overwhelmed at times with potential use cases. best advice honestly is to try it out, and learn what it is and how it does what it does. Then build together with partners, colleagues or others.

Customer support and onboarding are amazing. Genuine and wanting you to succeed and unlike a lot of companies, they love feedback and you will see your feedback rewarded with an improved product within weeks not months.

Cons:

Not really much you can negatively call stackby out on. It's an ever growing series of templates and use cases that come to life with other stackby users collaborating on what has to be one of the most innovative time saving products I have ever used.

It can make work fun, and if you have a boss, make you look like a programming genius even if you are clueless about computers, 1's and 0's and can not even find where the any key is.

Fairly priced and featured database, app or whatever your business needs

I was able to very quickly design and deploy a database for a customer. They are not very tech savvy but it was still very easy to explain to them how to use and collaborate on the platform. It has room to grow for their future business needs as it can easily integrate with custom APIs and marketing platforms. They provide a very nice offer compared to competitors such as airtable.

It is incredibly easy to use and collaborate whether you need a more powerful spreadsheet and forms to fill the database with information.

Cons:

Forms are limited in customization. Had some issues with onboarding but support was very helpful.

Reasons for choosing Stackby

Mostly pricing. Stackby offers a mature enough product for a very fair price and do have constant special offers. It is serving the clients needs very well.
