ZEP Compact provides a cost-effective entry into professional project time tracking and covers the administration of employees, customers as well as projects and enables appropriate reporting.

ZEP Professional offers a broader functionality in project planning with sales and profit evaluations, travel expense management, target/actual comparisons, and much more. We also integrate with platforms such as Salesforce, Personio, DATEV and offer an open SOAP interface. I have used other similiar apps ZEP is by far the best. Screens are nicely designed and very userfriendly

Pros:

Easy to use because of the graphical displaying of times. It is really easy to create reports in different formats to support our section for expenses. The workload seperation can be done in such a great detail that our teams can see where we use time the most.

Cons:

I have two ZEP accounts where sometimes i have to enter the same information. It would be helpful to connect two accounts and so i can send and transfer data from a to b.

ZEP - als Zeiterfassung

Der Kundenservice war bei Fragen immer sehr hilfreich und freundlich. Für uns als kleines Team ist ZEP eine gute Möglichkeit schlank und übersichtlich notwendige Erfassungen zu machen, auch wenn der Funktionsumfang fast schon zu umfangreich ist.

Pros:

ZEP ermöglicht eine einfach und schnelle Zeiterfassung. Die Erfassung geht sowohl am Handy, wie am PC sehr einfach und intuitiv. Es ist praktisch, dass gewisse Felder dann bereits vorausgefüllt sind bspw. bei Reisen. Die Übersicht über Urlaub und Fehlzeiten etc. ist auch sehr gut.

Cons:

Ich finde durch den Umfang an Funktionen etc. dauert es immer eine ganze Weile bis man Rubriken wieder findet bspw. die Administration von Projekten und Hinterlegung von Vorgängen.

ZEP has very user-friendly interface for everyone. It is very easy to understand what I Should & Could do.

Cons:

The response to move to another page is a little bit slow especially when I move to the page of Project time. But this is not vital issue at all.

Pros:

Ich liebe, dass es browserbasiert ist. Ich nutze gerne alle meine Tools online (z. B. Outlook, Slack etc.) - da passt ZEP sehr gut rein. Außerdem mag ich die Drag & Drop-Funktion, wenn man sich vertan hat.

Cons:

Dass ich mich mehrmals am Tag neu einloggen muss, auch wenn ich das Tab konstant geöffnet habe. Auch nervt es mich, wenn ich einen Eintrag erstellt habe, dass er danach nicht automatisch diesen Eintrag beibehält in der Vorauswahl, sondern auf etwas anderes springt.

I use it mainly for hours and holidays management, overtime monitoring, holidays request and to get information about my ongoing project.

Very easy to use for the hours and holidays management, the dashboard functionality is good and allow a good tracking of the overtime.

Cons:

The project information page is not always very clear, accessing the information about the project is sometimes difficult. It would be good it the rest hours can be displayed.

Pros:

Zep is a responsive, reliable and flexible way to record project hours, vacation days, etc. It does not hang, the buttons are where you expect them to be, and it's never down. I liked that when they removed the horizontal view with their overhaul that they re-implemented it by customer demand, which shows they listen.

Cons:

The problem with Zep is less about Zep, and more about working in a consultancy that requires all your hours to be meticulously logged. Realistically none of that is Zep's fault.

Is easy to use, its colaborative is very complete, i can track my task and time , its value for money

Cons:

If I integrate it with my calendar, I would have access to all the company calendars, but security doesn't allow this, so I have to manually enter everything repeatedly instead of it updating automatically with my Google Calendar.

Pros:

I find it a very useful applications, to be honest is the first one I use but i think is very intuitive to use and very user friendly.

Cons:

I dont like it doesnt say the minutes, and express the hours in the format, sometimes I have times like 1.23 hours, and is a bit confusing to understand how much i really worked.
