ProWritingAid is an AI writing assistant software that helps businesses proofread work in context, check for grammar and spelling mistakes, improve readability and add variety to writing style and structure. Pros:

I am grateful for ProWritingAid. I've edited my manuscript, and it seems fine. When I use ProWritingAid, I have made 100 sloppy mistakes. I'm saved from embarrassment with a chance to improve before printing.

Cons:

Sometimes a little slow. But it may be the internet.

Pros:

I love that it picks up the simplest things that I wouldn't have caught.

Cons:

I wish the box could be made smaller or even the ability to move it to my other screen, it covers some of the text that it is suggesting that I change - I can't see the full sentence and have to move it side to side to see it all.

Amazing Grammar Checker

I love ProWritingAid software. It solves grammar issues and helps with editing. I couldn't ask for more. It helped me with my main writing projects when I needed assistance. I loved it so much I told other people I know about it.

Pros:

When I first tried this software I was so shocked. I needed a software that would help me with my projects and help me with my editing. I needed something simple and this did the job. I was so excited to use it and it's still so helpful. When I am editing my writing assignments I am able to go quickly through and this software catches every grammar mistake. I also love how I am able to use some of the helpful words on this software site. I also love how I am able to download this software with no problem.

Cons:

I didn't like how when I first downloaded it I didn't understand some of the information on the screen, but as I slowed down I was able to figure it out. This software was easier than I thought.

The one time lifetime license purchase works far better for my budget than a monthly subscription.

Cons:

Running out of free plagiarism checks is annoying, but it's not a deal breaker.

No proper MacOS MS Word inline support. The pop ups for suggestions or sparks tend to get in the way of the text.

It makes brilliant suggestions. I think the interface is easy now that I've had it a few days.

Cons:

It was hard to get it to work at first. It conflicted with my browser until I found out a conflicting ext and turned it off.

Exactly what I need, and a little bit more.

So far, I love it as a tool once I'm done writing. I haven't tried using it in real-time writing.

There are so many mistakes that I make on the first drafts that catching as many as possible the next time around keeps me from having to do 10-12 rounds versus 3-4. Or maybe it's just me, but it works for me well.

Cons:

That I don't have a downloadable program that I can use on my PC offline.

It did more of what I needed. That's not to say that those other ones weren't good. I just needed this right now.

I am a long-time user of ProWritingAid. It has helped me become a better writer, whether posting comments on Facebook, composing an email, or working on a chapter for my novel. Practice has helped me become more articulate by reducing the clutter in my writing. I recommend it to anyone who wishes to express themselves more succinctly. ,

Cons:

The trend today is to avoid adverbs. Sometimes, I find this annoying. I sometimes prefer to express my thoughts without the constant intrusion of an expert. I will revise later, thank you.
