About Dataslayer

Dataslayer is a cloud-based data warehouse and business intelligence solution. Dataslayer caters to marketing agencies, ecommerce companies, and SaaS businesses that want to consolidate their data into a single source of truth.

Dataslayer allows users to import data from over 45 sources, including Google Ads, Facebook, and Google Analytics. Users can then create automated reports in Google Sheets and Google Data Studio to gain data insights. Dataslayer stores large amounts of data in Google BigQuery, allowing for fast SQL queries. The API Query Manager enables users to extract data from Dataslayer into BI tools such as Tableau, Qlik, and Power BI.

Dataslayer is deployed on Google Cloud Platform, providing enterprise-level security and scalability. Dataslayer offers email support and online documentation to help users get started.

Easy to use tool to create my CRO Reports

My experience has been really good. Easy to set up, trustworthy in terms of updating reports daily and a little bit limited when talking about bringing information from HubSpot.

I like how easy it was to set up and how fast it brought information from Google Analytics into my Google Sheets

Cons:

That I wasn't able to map custom properties from my HubSpot account to compare web performance with funnel performance.

I use the Google Sheet addon which makes it easy to feed data into other destinations. The connectors are plentiful, including the usual suspects like Google Ads, Meta (Facebook) Ads, Google Analytics (Universal & GA4), Bing Ads, and others, but there are also reliable connectors for platforms like TikTok, MailChimp, Shopify, and more.

Cons:

I wish we had the ability to add specific tabs to different schedules with the same Google Sheets file.

We love Dataslayer

It has been a great experience using the Google Sheets extension as well as the API.

It has affected our companies workflows in several ways, allowing us to speed up data pulls from ad platforms and our database. We love being able to schedule reports to be sent internally.

Cons:

I can't really think of any cons. Occasionally with large report generations, it will time out on the request and I will have to pull extremely large files from the platforms themselves.

Needed more connectors as well as a more robust platform.
