Pros:

I like that its structured end-to-end proposal management solution offers a lot of flexibility to quickly search and identify relevant content from a range of sources, bring it directly into a draft MSO document, and collaborate with team, while accommodating and supporting implementation of our unique workflow.

Cons:

The guest user experience which, though improved in response to our organizational feedback, could offer our large guest user population more features, like finding and navigating to pursuits.

Access to proposal-ready content via add-ins in Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).Enables users to collaborate and track progress of work on complex RFP response documents.Proposal automation (templates, smart fields) and collaboration (assignments, pursuits) significantly reduces time and effort required to prepare high-quality winning sales proposals.Great integration with SharePoint which allows us to build a powerful repository of approved, reusable content.

Cons:

There were some issues with setting up the workflow for expiring content alerts.It takes some time for users to learn how to use the tool (it's not super intuitive).

Ease of use is key to obtaining buy-in from SMEs and to extend to other business functions.

Cons:

Limited reporting features means that we have still have to use manual processes.

A nice layer of security and organization for self serve presentation development

Pros:

The cart allows you to combine and build a custom presentation quickly and find/replace custom fields with smart tags is a nice feature that can speed up development for users that are savvy to use it.

Cons:

The platform is very slow on our end. It takes a very long time to preview files, view the cart, and utilize the functionality. The add-on also tends to be very slow to load. If a user does not have a license in the organization, they cannot retrieve presentation slides without help from a licensed user.

Excellent Experience

The ability for multiple users to have open and edit one document simultaneously has saved us countless hours of versioning and editing.

Pros:

From implementation to end-users daily use, Qorus was easy to implement, quick to troubleshoot issues, and well received when rolling out to our organization.

Cons:

It would be helpful to have a way to combine Q&A items into one document for SME updates. In other words, the auto-generated email has all of the content in one email/document for review/approval, rather than that multiple Q&A documents and therefore multiple Q&A update emails.

Reasons for switching to QorusDocs

We were looking for a better way to organize content and streamline our overall proposal process. We had three crucial needs in a content library: Word Q&A info, PPT slides, and exhibit documents of various file types. Qorus gave us a single solution to store all of the content, with the bonus of allowing multiple users to simultaneously edit a project document.

Cons:

We need to find out what information is current or old, tagging or giving a timestamp on information and being able to update it, seeing current and prior information is key.
