About AscendTMS

AscendTMS is a cloud-based supply chain management (SCM) solution designed for businesses of all sizes. Key features include load management, accounting, finance management, branch management and payment management functionalities within a suite.

The load management functionality of the solution allows users to track supply orders, delivery dates, carriers and distances in the dashboard. Users can also track the financials of their load assignments to find out the most profitable ones. This module also allows users to assign the most profitable carriers and third party logistics service providers to ship their loads.

AscendTMS features load GPS tracking which allows users to track the geographical location of their carriers on a physical map with the help of drivers' cell phones.

A key feature of the software is driver payroll management which allows users to pay their contract and full-time drivers using different payment structures such as per mile, per hour, per pallet and per ton.

Pros:

Ascend TMS understands that if you deliver more functionality to your customer up front for little to no cost that is the ultimate way to deliver and show the customer you are out for their best interest and their success.

Cons:

It is a very good TMS, that democratizes functionality for the transportation community.

Pros:

Its easy to implement and work on. Have some nice features.

Cons:

Slow and lags pretty often. Cannot have it open in 2 windows and it is not well streamlined for 1 screen operation.

Greta customer service. Very nice. Very easy to use and not a hard learning curve. Has training videos

Cons:

there is not much that I don’t like. I really like everything. Maybe the lay-ought can be easier to use .

BEST TMS ON THE MARKET

It's been great. This is the first TMS system that we have used, and we plan on using it for many years to come.

Pros:

I am a Freight Broker, and this is my first year in business. This platform is simply amazing and easy to use. It generates the paperwork necessary to move my loads and saves all data and documentation for me with no limits. I recommend Ascend TMS to anyone who needs a transportation management system.

Cons:

I cannot think of anything I do not like about this platform.

The software is user friendly. There have only been a couple times that I needed Support assistance since using the Ascend TMS software and tech [sensitive content hidden] reached out in a timely matter and helped resolve the issue. It is a comforting feeling knowing the software is dependable and when necessary, Ascend Support has responded within minutes of submitting my request for assistance. Thank you Ascend Support Team for your diligence and knowledge with your product to effectively resolve issues.

Cons:

I have not come across anything specific that I dislike. If anything, there are tutorials to reference. I just don't give enough time to take advantage of the tutorial resources.
