Pros:
InFlow was a great program originally for smaller companies and was a great way to manage inventory and create a professional looking Inventory Management System.
Cons:
No support even though purchased the program at full price when they were small. They have left the little guy behind unfortunately and now it is too expensive and only for big guys.

Pros:
Its super easy to use, set up to work with other programs and the inventory system is GREAT
Cons:
I wish there was an easier way to link Sales Orders and Purchase Orders within those screens

Reasons for choosing inFlow Inventory

We had used the non cloud version and during covid lock down I had looked at other options. But for ease of use, price point and customer service we stayed with inflow.

Vendor Response

Hi Kelyn, thanks for choosing inFlow through the On-Premise times and now in the cloud. We'll pass on your feedback about linking SO and POs!

Almost amazing, but still very solid

5

Very happy with the product, since we are in the food industry lot code tracking is a huge priority. The way we work around not having this feature built in is that we have lot based inventory. So instead of setting it up as 'Widget A', 'Widget B' and 'Widget C' it's setup so that there are 10 lot numbers associated with A, 15 with B, etc.

Pros:
Easy to use Accurate tracking Can setup multiple warehouse locations Customer service is top notch A lot of reports, can build customer reports if needed
Cons:
No built in lot code tracking - there are work arounds for this but they aren't perfect and have their own issues which wouldn't be an issue if there was built in lot code tracking.

Cons:
Not quite mrp, i.e., there is not a time-phased "Make/Buy Report" that materials professionals look for.

Reasons for switching to inFlow Inventory

Excel was inadequate for our needs. We outgrew it.

Vendor Response

Hi James, thanks for the honest feedback on what we're doing well and what we could improve on. We've released a few new features for manufacturers in the past year, like a full web manufacturing module with routing and prioritization, and we'll continue to look into making things easier for manufacturers in inFlow. Thanks for the review!

Pros:
Pictorial easy to use cloud interface, app which allows scanning inventory in and out. Easy to manufacture items and sub components of items
Cons:
Still working a few bugs out of the system, but what software isn't. There is some rather crucial information missing on stock adjustments (like who did them), which makes following up a pain for me at the moment - I hope they are going to add this data field in the future. I would also like to be able to make explanations for stock movement mandatory

Reasons for choosing inFlow Inventory

We manufacture items and make products with sub components, inflow was by far the easiest and most user friendly package for this. I was also impressed by their ability to support a young business. We had Inflow fully up and running in one with with 3 locations and thousands of lines of stock. People can start using it with confidence with very little training thanks to its easy and logical interface.

Reasons for switching to inFlow Inventory

MRPeasy was too difficult for my users to understand, and was not user friendly or easy. Sortly was pretty and cheaper, however it doesn't have manufacturing or real inventory control processes

It has all the we currently need in terms of order management and inventory management, and such basic functions are enough so far. But the SQL engine tends to jam very often... it is annoying yet not a cause to discard the software yet.
