About Tradogram

Tradogram is a cloud-based procurement management solution. Users can choose from a list of integrated modules such as supplier management, purchase-to-pay, contract management, strategic sourcing and order management.

Team managers can monitor purchases and access procurement information from any location and device. The system also comes equipped with budgeting and project tracking modules that helps users to estimate budgets for different projects lines.

Users can maintain a record of approved suppliers for each item which includes supplier information, product specifications and transaction history. Tradogram provides real-time updates to document and track requisitions, purchase orders, expenses and more. It also allows users to create custom reports.

Tradogram is suited for midsize to enterprise-level companies. Tradogram also integrates with accounting and ERP solutions like Xero, Quickbooks and Dynamics. Solution is priced on per user per month subscription basis. Support is available via email.

Pros:

What I value most about Tradogram is its intuitive design and user-friendly interface, which make it incredibly easy to navigate and manage procurement processes. The customer support is exceptional; I appreciate the instant chat feature that allows for real-time assistance and the fact that all communications are conveniently saved and emailed. Additionally, the continuous updates and improvements to the system demonstrate a commitment to user satisfaction and efficiency. The software also excels in record-keeping, forecasting, and maintaining historical data, which are essential for effective budgeting and approvals.

Cons:

While Tradogram generally meets our procurement needs effectively, one aspect I find less favorable is the limited customization options. It would be beneficial to have the ability to disable certain features that we don’t use to streamline our workflow. Additionally, the unit of measure settings can sometimes complicate the procurement process when they’re not necessary for our operations. Lastly, we’ve encountered some issues with vendor communication, as emails sent through Tradogram tend to land in the vendors’ spam folders.

We certainly do have the option to turn off any feature that you're not using, that will be under your company/branch settings and user permissions. We used to input our expenses manually in a much more tedious way, so this is a much easier experience.

overall its okay, if cartscan worked properly I would give it a good review, but it does not which causes more labor/time when creating PO's

Pros:

For the most part it is user friendly, when cart scan worked it was easier to create large purchase orders but for some reason it stopped working last year.

Cons:

When creating a PO the program asks for how many line/items you will be ordering, why can't this program have the lines numbered. For example if I have 200 McMaster parts ordered when I receive the PO there are no numbers (numerically) just part numbers. Just saying most packing lists from distributors have the numbers next to the lines. This would make receiving and inventorying much more efficient. We need some better software for cart scan. When this program was working PO's were a lot easier to submit rather than copying and pasting every single box in each line. Then when looking/receiving a PO then clicking back one page the server times out and you receive a red box which says I am not allowed to go back, all of my filters do not reset. There should be tracking options available with PO's instead of having to directly contact distributors and trying to figure out lead times on PO's.

Pros:

The thing I like the most is page layout. It makes sense to me and is easy to navigate. I colors of the website are easy one the eyes and the letter size is just right. I appreciate all the thought that has gone into your website.

Cons:

Some times if I forget to check which billing area the PO is going to and it makes me start all over. That’s not really a negative though. It’s just attention to detail on my part.

Easy to use!

It is easy to navigate and make adjustments accordingly. I also like that when I need assistant there is a chat and I can get the help I need almost instantly.

Cons:

Sometimes when I am syncing purchase orders to Quickbooks, sometimes it does not sync, but the chat helps me figure out what is wrong.

Easy to use PO Entry System

We have used tradogram in our company for many years now with little to no issues. Nice to be able to send a PO directly to our vendors and for our AP department to follow up internally and externally to insure proper payments.

This PO system is easy enough to use throughout 18 locations and 6 departments with little to no issues.

Cons:

I wish the system did not allow for adding new vendors without forcing the user to insure they were not entering a duplicate.

Purchase user review

It was a little rough getting started when it was launched. There have bee many fixes and adds along the way to help make it better. I have traditionally used the purchasing system to research past items that were used and I find that not very well defined in this system. Otherwise I have grown comfortable with it and can use it with pretty good success.

Relative ease of entry of requisitions. Navigation is pretty simple. I like the ability to attach files to requisitions and Purchase Orders.

Cons:

The ability to search for past purchases. If I crated a requisition but the PO was created by the purchasing department I cannot filter searches by myself and the vendor because each is only true in one or the other not both. Since there is no ability to select a vendor in the requisition it is not possible to easily group purchases that I made form a specific vendor.

Pros:

I like the system because it is very fast and i can clone a close PRF if of the same requisition. Basically, it is a good system and with the new interface, am sure we shall learn to peruse through it and also be well versed with it. I would also suggest that, if possible, to add a notification alert for the end user when a PRF has been fulfilled/closed.

Cons:

Teh least about Tradogram is the fact that we can't save in real time while raising a PRF. The moment you lose power or any interruption with the internet, all inputs are lost, and one has to redo the whole process again.
