Affordable, Feature-Packed Offering

We are entering our 5th year utilizing SportsPlus. Over that time, we've seen features continue to improve and licensing cost remain stable. Most importantly, any time we've had a question or problem, the SportsPlus staff was very quick to response and help us resolve our issue. There may be some sites with a bit more modern interface to navigate, but none that we've found that pack so many features in for an affordable price - which are savings we can pass along to our athletes.

Pros:

We run a fairly large non-profit to assist our student athletes obtain their goals. All of our coaches and staff are volunteers and it's important for us to keep participation affordable. SportsPlus offered numerous features out-of-the-box at a very reasonable price.

Cons:

Some of the administrative interface navigation can be a bit tricky but has improved over time. There are so many features and offerings within SportsPlus, that it can sometimes take a bit to find what you're looking for. However, with regular usage this is not an issue. We created an internal abridged Coaches Guide to help our staff navigate the features they use the most.

Best ever!

Great sports management software!

They have been responsive and helpful when I have asked for assistance. I do, however, have to wait for responses due to their primary development team being in another country.

Cons:

It's app needs so user interface updates. It's not intuitive, and they should continually seek feedback from the parents, players, and team staff to improve it.

Great sports team tool

migrated our entire club site in just a few days with excellent and dedicated support from staff at sports plus. we were able to cancel other services as this tool does it all and does it better

Turned out to be a good decision to go with SportsPlus

Now everybody in the club uses SportsPlus. SportsPlus saved us a lot of money by giving us a good payment processing rate.

Pros:

We have been using SportsPlus for about a year. Other than a few minor issues, overall, it is working well for us. Now all the coaches adopted it, and they use it regularly. The scheduling part works well. The organization schedulers add the schedules, then the team coaches can independently manage them on their own. Also, the team app and mobile app comes for free. Now all the teams are using the mobile app. As an admin, it gives me full control over all the teams.

Cons:

Nothing much. Initially, during the first few weeks, we had a few minor issues which were addressed by the support. We need to customize certain email message templates which they are going to provide. I wish there are most templates for the website.

Overall it's a good value. It's an all-inclusive product with a simple pricing model. It covers everybody in the organization.

manages teams and rosters well, auto reminders are helpful for families

Cons:

It is not letting me use the auto-scheduler function (and that is the primary reason we selected SportsPlus for our sports league.)
