About Swiftlane

Swiftlane is a cloud-based access control and video intercom system that is designed for multifamily residential, office and commercial buildings. It integrates mobile unlock, face recognition access, video intercom, key card access and voice-enabled unlock into a single platform.

Swiftlane's touchless face recognition access allows users to simply walk up to a door and look at the SwiftReader device to gain entry. The mobile application enables seamless door unlocking from anywhere. The voice-enabled unlock feature provides a completely hands-free experience. Additionally, for visitor management, Swiftlane offers secure PINs that can be assigned and revoked through the cloud-based dashboard.

    Swiftlane experience

    We have had the device for approximately 4 years and it has been amazing. We have only had to upgrade once since we had the original system installed.

    Extremely satisfied with the product performance as well as customer service, they follow up immediately when there is an issue.

    I have no complaints about the system. The app on the phone is very user friendly, which is nice for a senior property.

    Swiftlane for the Barker

    Overall experience is great. In the two years I lived at the Barker, the system only went down twice and even then, true customer service was always helpful.

    It is an efficient system for accessing the building for both residents and guests. Also, managing the app though my phone was a great feature.
    Cons:
    When the system is down, access to the building can become difficult. Other than that, there were really no other negative points to discuss.

    Swiftlane- serviceable when working, awful when not.

    I have a mixed experience with Swiftlane. When it works it is nice, however, the several times it doesn’t work really leaves a bad impression.

    When it works, it’s fast and easy with the face recognition. I also enjoy the pin feature to allow trusted family and friends to allow them access as well.
    Cons:
    I despise when it does not work. Which is very often- particularly in the winter. It just stays stuck on the Swiftlane interface, and does not allow for Face ID, the pin, or any way to get in. This is terrible in weather that is 10-20 degrees Fahrenheit.

    The system is secure and the customer service is accessible and quick to help however they can. I also enjoy the guest pin feature.
    Cons:
    The access points lose connection every so often from one day to the next. Also the phone reacting to the access points while in my pocket can be annoying.

    Swift lane is very easy to use, and even mobile app is very reliable. Changing password and getting technical support is very easy.
    Cons:
    Sometime, gets slow from distance but once in a year. Overall, my experience was good even when my mobile app access got blocked, they helped me very quickly only with one email request.

    Very easy to set up for our residents. Any troubleshooting was easily fixed. Residents are happy and only complaints are the residents names being spelled wrong.

    Easy to use interface, can add pins for visitors. Can use bluetooth to unlock apt door if I forgot my keys.
    Cons:
    There are no big cons to the system. The only thing I can think of is that if someone buzzes the door, and someone else answers and accepts, it will show in the app that you accepted the call and opened the door, even if it wasn't you.

    Customer support - thing me to the system when i moved in was almost immediate, plus I asked for a change of name, that was done within an hour. The video capture for deliverymen is also very useful.
    Cons:
    The panel is a little far from the door, but there is enough time to get through before it times out.

    It’s accessible considering you can access entrance to your building through your phone. I like that there is an access pin for visitors and delivery. I also enjoy that when someone calls your specific apartment number, you get the call through your phone with video surveillance and an option to speak.
    Cons:
    Sometimes the system does malfunction and you may be locked out of your building. But in general it doesn’t last too long and won’t happen often. The problem is solved promptly.

    How easy it is to use. The camera is pretty good at identifying me when opening the door. I like that you can make your own pin for guests to enter the building. The app is easy to use as well.
    Cons:
    Sometimes the camera cannot identify me when I am trying to open the door, due to glare. Maybe if the camera had a shield it would be easier to recognize tenants?
