Pros:
Target makes it easy to test different UI/UX changes on the fly. We can retain a high level of testing velocity. This also allows us to deploy personalization quickly avoiding any bottlenecks with development.
Cons:
Target is pricey. This is the hey to remember. Yes, Adobe products like Target can be costly, however you should be looking to calculate ROI on the tool using testing fairly easy. While we spend a lot of money on the product itself, we make it back 10x because of our always be testing strategy.

Fundamental complement of the Adobe suite but difficult to integrate with other adobe tools

The tool is a must-have in a full-stack Adobe context, especially in synergy with Adobe Experience Manager. CRO results are measurable and lead to optimizations that would otherwise be difficult to implement. The setup to make the tool synergistic with other Adobe tools such as Campaign or Analytics is to be taken into account and needs for a qualified sysyem integrator

Visual editor is easy to use, even the setup of a/b test is facilitated and immediate the tracking of results, the customization of content is simplified if it is carried out on adobe experience manager
Cons:
The implementation of audience exchange with other Adobe tools such as Adobe Campaign and Adobe Analitycs requires developments and customizations that can make adoption difficult

A/b-testen voor alle maturity levels

Of je nu veel ervaring hebt met a/b-testen of weinig: iedereen is in staat om een test op te zetten in Adobe Target. Ik vind Adobe Analytics erg complex, maar deze tool daarentegen is veel intuitiever. Een pluim voor Adobe in dit geval.

Pros:
"Auto-alocate to best experience" is een fijne feature binnen Adobe Target. Op basis van een AI-model bepaalt Adobe Target dan welke variant hij laat zien aan welke gebruiker. Zo weet je dat je het maximale resultaat bereikt voor iedere bezoeker.Verder vind ik het een voordeel dat iedereen in staat is om een test op te zetten. Met een klein beetje training kun je al een test opzetten.
Cons:
Het nadeel aan Adobe Target vind ik dat ze alleen integraties hebben met Adobe Analytics. Ik zou het ook fijn vinden om de data makkelijk naar Google Analytics te kunnen pushen. Nu moest ik daarvoor een custom dimension aanmaken en een dataLayer.push doen.

Vanuit Allianz Group worden er RFP's uitgeschreven. In dit geval kwam Adobe Target als beste uit de bus. Wij hebben op basis van deze RFP gekozen voor Adobe Target en niet voor een andere tool.

The main thing is to be able to segment customers according to their age, gender and behavior. It also allows to generate new digital experiences according to their interests. Not to mention its ease of use.
Cons:
Cost is not an option for small businesses. Large companies can take advantage of all its benefits.

A Large Scale Optimization Tool

This is a great tool if your business operates with the whole Adobe bundle (analytics, AAM, launch, etc) or if you need elaborate targeting. However, I think there are easier tools out there to support small business operations.

Fundamentally this tool is great to implement an A/B test visually. It also provides great analytics and reports.
Cons:
There was a large learning curve and I found other tools much easier to implement. The support was not ideal.
