About Spendesk

Spendesk is a cloud-based spend management solution designed to help businesses handle invoices, approval processes, expense reimbursements, virtual debit cards and more. The platform uses optical character recognition (OCR) technology to scan submitted invoices and lets professionals store transactions or receipts in a centralized repository.

Key features of Spendesk include payment reconciliation, data visualization, multiple currencies and real-time reports. Organizations can set up individual spending limits for staff members and view corporate purchase history including an audit trail of approvals, requests, reviews or exports on a unified platform. Additionally, employees can use its Google Chrome extension to request funds and pay for orders on the merchant's website.

Spendesk facilitates integration with various third-party systems such as Slack, Xero, Datev, NetSuite and more. The product is available on monthly subscriptions and support is extended via FAQs, live chat and documentation.

    Very easy to use for uploading receipts, its smart receipt detection and role-based access system are excellent.
    Cons:
    The main drawbacks are credit card payments limits and the lack of native automations to sync receipts from other tools.

    Its easy to setup and easy to use. Approval process is easy and the data is visible in a neat form
    Cons:
    Approval across multiple entities is very elementary. Workflow is rigid and integration with some tools is not easy

    Cons:
    Customer service was slow to respond and often unhelpful. Some major vendors did not accept Spendesk cards as payment.

    Having credit card as main payment method for our online providers was a mess. Spendesk gave us absolut control about our expenses, reporting and more over... authmatization! Never more share credit card data to employees.
    Cons:
    Spendesk should have been live 5 ago to avoid past problems :)

    They understood our needs and visit us in our offices even being in another country. We are in online world but human beings need to meet each other to understand properly all scenarios and problems.

If you contact support before purchasing, it will provide you with a personalized demo. It appeals to me because it has a simple and user-friendly interface that makes tracking card usage simple.
