      Fantastic experience with Purple Pass

      A+. I remember when I was looking for a new company and the one I chose wouldn't answer their phones-they told you to talk to the "group," the way G--gle does, rather than be of help. When I finally reached someone, she said she could help once only. I was a potential new customer, and she didn't care. Horrible experience. Purple Pass is the antithesis of this experience. The people are so knowledgeable and friendly, and it's obvious that comes from the attitude of the [sensitive content hidden], who has been fantastic throughout the experience. Can't say enough good things about this company. Then as a topper, we get paid within a few days of our event end. Amazing!

      How responsive their team is when I need help. If I can't reach a person because of the time difference, they promptly call me the next morning. They've always been able to assist me with whatever I needed, and are endlessly cheerful in doing so. I have a great IT guy who has suggestions and they are open to listening and implementing his ideas, if they already didn't have it in the works. Terrific company!
      Cons:
      It's a programming issue. When we have a group discount offered, if people mix types of tickets, it doesn't encompass all the tickets. They have to be all the same type for it to work. This needs to be updated. Otherwise, no complaints. I love my rep, [sensitive content hidden].

      It's a most agreeable melding of accessibility and efficiency. I'm able to easily post new events, and also make changes as needed. Our patrons appreciate how much easier Purplepass makes their ticket-buying experience as compared to other systems. Purplepass is an excellent option for managing multiple facilities as we do at Pensacola State.

      I like the multiple ways in which Purplepass ticketing provides a user-friendly experience, not only for those of us who handle transactions on the sales end, but also for our customers. Also, as the person who's in charge of numerous sales and show reports, I find Purplepass very helpful and flexible in enabling me to compile information.

      Purplepass is very user friendly, and it's also easy for me to set up when creating events. I direct plays and musicals and they make it very easy to sell tickets and receive payment.
      Cons:
      I wish there was a way to set up an event for one day at multiple times. For example, a play that shows at 3pm and 7pm. In order to do this, I have to create multiple links.

      One of the MOST important aspects of any event is to assure proper preplanning and have customer service available during the event for any last minute changes or to troubleshoot to keep the event running smoothly. The customer service from our account representative, [sensitive content hidden], has been nothing but stellar! He is there to walk us through being able to set up our event ourselves, help when needed and offer excellent solutions. We are in good hands and the stress of ticketing or equipment issues is far less than any other product we have used previously. The system processing security and value is perfect for our event. Admission scanning process is easy to teach volunteers in less than 5 minutes!
      Cons:
      We would like to see the ability to use the terminals at the front gate and provide a QR code receipt to bring to entry gate.

      Purplepass provides a comprehensive end to end ticketing platform for our non-profit's needs. The setup is easy. All options in ticketing like multiple categories, pricing options, coupon codes, sale open/close customization are provided. In addition, physical scanners and smartphone based scanners make it easy to checkin attendees on event day. The support from the staff has been excellent.

      Ticketing for the event can be setup as a self-service with the online web interface. All possible options including multi day event, coupon code options, pricing categories and several customizable options make it a comprehensive platform. The support is very responsive and often provides quick and simple solutions.
      Cons:
      At times the embedded ticket widget does not work as intended and we need to reach out to support to resolve it.

      Purplepass was chosen by my predecessor. However, after extensive collaboration with both teams to get the features needed for our organization, he decided to go with Purplepass.

      We’ve been using Purplepass for over three years now to manage ticketing for our dance showcases, which regularly draw close to 1,000 attendees—and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the very beginning, Purplepass has offered an incredibly streamlined and user-friendly ticketing system. Setting up events is intuitive and quick, and the platform offers great flexibility in customizing ticket types, pricing tiers, and event details to suit our unique needs. Our guests consistently tell us how easy and seamless it is to book tickets, whether they’re purchasing online or at the door. One of the standout features for us has been their ticket scanning device, which has made on-site check-ins much more efficient. With large crowds arriving in waves, speed and organization are critical—and Purplepass has absolutely delivered on that front.       From the start, the staff have been professional and helpful. There is not a question too small that they won't help solve. If you make a suggestion to make a change to the software to make the system work better for you, they will always listen and send your thoughts up to the development team. A lot of times, you are not the only users who has a similar thought.

      Customer support is outstanding. The working relationship we have with our Purplepass support tech is fantastic. Responses to email, voicemail and phone calls are always prompt. Changes to events are made in real time. You can open and close sections of venues as needed with very little effort. Our students enjoy the passcode feature so they can purchase tickets at their convenience.
      Cons:
      When we first started with Purplepass, they didn't have a user manual. An online user manual is now available to help with questions.

      Purplepass Ticketing is very easy to use. The process of creating a new event, and running the box office for that event is very intuitive - to the point where I was able to take over running things for my college Theatre Department without any training. The few times I did run into trouble, there was usually a quick solution to be found in the various help guides. When I did need to contact customer service, responses were very fast and solutions were immediately offered. It makes for a very smooth experience for organizers and for our patrons. The ticketing website looks very professional, and the seating charts for reserved seating options are great. The new rollout for the box office POS also makes it easier to do comp tickets or to add promo codes at the box office window, which we love.
      Cons:
      I still run into occassional problems with hardware (mostly the ticket and receipt printers), but this isn't really an issue with Purplelass - it's just that Boca printers can be rather finicky.

      Our university made the transition to PurplePass in December of 2022. It was a challenge to make the change from our previous, more familiar, ticketing system to a less familiar one, but the staff at PurplePass was available to answer each one of my questions. My needs were fairly complex, at least they were in my eyes as I had several categories of customers who needed to receive discounts at a variety of different rates. The PurplePass system allowed me to create a coupon code for each customer type and for each individual theatre patron. The PurplePass ticketing system is a robust one with many features. I find I am still learning about new features all the time. The PurplePass people send out newsletters regularly to help their clients familiarize themselves with new possibilities that can improve sales. Without the help of the team at PurplePass, I'm sure I would've been unable to meet my customers' needs in a timely fashion. The PurplePass team also provided ticket scanners and other pieces of equipment for our use. They have just upgraded our equipment and I am very pleased with the result. In addition, the PurplePass team has been especially helpful during a transition between ticket sales personnel, providing personalized training for my new ticket sales person. It's this level of customer service that has made my PurplePass experience such a positive one. The software itself allows me to create an attractive online event that is easy for my customers to navigate. The system provides the option for my customer to print a PDF copy of their ticket or to bring a QR code to the theater for scanning. Social media links, mass mailings, and robust data reporting are just a few of the services provided by the PurplePass platform. While no ticketing system is perfect, the PurplePass system, along with the technical support that they provide, has proven to be an invaluable asset to my Theatre program. I wanted to let you know that your guests can create a ticket buyer account, securely save payment methods on file, and have all of this automatically filled out when they purchase tickets. They can also view their order history and re-download their tickets as well. We also now have Single Sign On (SSO) support which will allow all of your students to sign into Purplepass using their student email credentials. This means that students do not need to create an account or remember another login ID/PW - They can use their existing student email account. With SSO, this also addresses your other comment about auto-applying discounts. You can restrict special student-only and staff-only tickets that are hidden to the general public and are automatically shown when they are signed into their Purplepass account using their school email address. Besides restricted access tickets, this also includes automatic discounts for them.

      ALL EXCELLENCE ALL THE TIME!! We switched from another ticket sales service to find a friendly, affordable, easy to use process. We have been delighted with the results of using PurplePass. I can set up events, I can clone events, I can customize events! Our attendees are able to use the site with very little assistance. It's been a good switch.

      Customer Service is the best! We are a bit on the technically challenged side, but the patience and persistence of the staff at PurplePass got us up and running in good form. I can't over state how helpful and clear the communication from [sensitive content hidden] was to help us navigate a rather complex and secure process.

      Covid rules made a bit of a mess, but with the help of the staff we were able to sort it out and NOW the rules are over!! Reason to celebrate!!
