OfficeReports is the best tool of its kind I’ve assessed and used. If you build reports or presentations in PowerPoint/Excel and want to streamline your workflow, this platform is absolutely worth it (even for someone that is not technical)

Deep integration with PowerPoint and Excel Extremely user friendly and easy to adopt Research data is not always easy for a tool to work with, but Torben and OfficeReports has done it seamlessly Huge time savings through automation Clean, professional output with minimal effort Dependability—everything just works and if there is ever a technical issue (which is usually on our side), they are extremely responsiveness
Cons:
Honestly, very little. Any tool can always grow, but OfficeReports already delivers exactly what I need at a very high level. While there is some AI options embedded, I'll look forward to seeing how this capability grows.

OfficeReports is a fantastic product, unlike anything on the market, due to its ease of use and flexibility. Plus, Torben is a great trainer if you need advice on how to use particular product features.
Cons:
There is nothing about OfficeReports to change, other than on the website it would be nice to see a more apparent area to log in and manage the account. That functionality may be there, but I didn't see it where I would have expected to find it.

Once you click-in to the program, it's so easy to use and wonderfully helpful. We're working on a project with multiple markets, so I appreciate the flexibility we're offered through the templates.
Cons:
The data swapping/uploading between different markets process has been really challenging. I receive many error messages or general pop up windows and I don't understand what they mean. If they were written in more common language or had instructions on what needed to be resolved, I'd be able to take the initiative to fix it myself. This is the part that I've had the most difficult time learning.

What a Time Saver

OfficeReports is a great tool for generating repetitive presentations and spreadsheets. I prepared a 60 page Powerpoint that had to be updated and replicated 16 times based on specific criteria. In the past this would take me almost 3 weeks to manually update. With OfficeReports, the reports were generated in minutes.

Excellent software for tabulations and PowerPoint report building.

We do frequent ad hoc analytical reports for various clients, in their PowerPoint templates. OfficeReports allows us create new presentations quickly and efficiently.

The data tabulations, data tables, and the setup for our ad hoc reporting needs are exceptionally good.
Cons:
Although other data formats do work, the primary data format is SPSS to obtain all the functionality. Would like to see this extended to other sourcess.

Reasons for switching to OfficeReports

Displayr was very good with more charting options than OfficeReports. However, the data visualizations were all inserted as objects in PowerPoint which wasn't compatible with our clients' requirements and needs.

OfficeReports is a software that balances complexity with an intuitive interface that plugs in seamlessly to excel without requiring maneuvering data between platforms. I work with a team of consultants (not market researchers) and OfficeReports provides a clean, non-confusing interface without overwhelming you with options. If more robust options are required, they do exist and easy to implement.
Cons:
For very, very complex projects (multiple thousands of variables as well as thousands of cases) the program can begin to stumble. However, an experienced user can mitigate the issue. Similarly, while the floating license is preferred for our organization, utilizing the floating license and a business dropbox account (or equivalent) can sometimes create issues where one user has exited the license but there is a lag before the license is available for use in the future.

Reasons for choosing OfficeReports

The user interface of OfficeReports was less overwhelming for consumers who are not research experts and lower price.

What I liked the most about Office Reports: the functionalities that help tackle very specific needs in market research and survey results analysis work. Everything the team used to do in SPSS and other softwares to prepare survey data (netting, recoding, aggregating variables, changing values etc.), can now be done through Office Reports. The process of preparing the survey data to then analyzing it and creating Powerpoint reports with it has become way more efficient. We are also able to be more accurate because the whole data life cycle is centralized in OfficeReports and we don't have to use different softwares at each step of the process. But even more importantly, what stood out the most while using OR is the support. While getting used to this software, I found that there was a steep learning curve, and like with every software, there are hurdles, but at least with Office Reports, you know that if you click the help button and talk to the chat, you will not only be answered by an AI agent but also by a person, and rest assured that whatever hurdle you are facing will be solved. This level of customer support alone makes you feel like you can keep using it and getting better and better at it.
Cons:
Maybe we could make it a bit easier to create summary tables with aggregate variables. (but again I am sure that talking with their customer support helpline would solve this)

Once set up, this offers a vital link between excel and powerpoint that we've never had access to before. Works seamlessly once you get your head around the layout. Torben is a good point of contact too, really helpful when we were getting to grips with it.
Cons:
Looks a bit Windows 98, could do with a UX and graphic designer putting some time into the layout and aesthetics
