The Potential Is There!

I was looking for a platform that could serve several functions at a reasonable price point. I found it in 17 Hats, and I’m always learning something new.

Pros:

It’s comprehensive. I was looking for an all-in-one solution for booking, invoicing, and workflow management.

Cons:

The Booking function doesn’t have all the features you see in other booking platforms such as manual scheduling and schedule blocking. It’s a little clunky but I believe it’s still being developed.

Price point and I was already familiar with it.

Reasons for switching to 17hats

I didn’t like that WaveApps is now owned by H&R Block. I needed a CRM anyway, so it would’ve been redundant to stay with WaveApps.

I think that the main thing that I can say about 17hats is that it’s a good all in one system email, booking and everything at one spot.

Cons:

There were no issues with the software at all. We just were not in the position to keep paying the amount that was required.

Simplifying & Streamlining Small Business Management

When I first signed up for 17hats in 2018, it simplified my business systems from 5 to 1 single system, saving me so much time and money. I love how it has so many useful features and functionalities in a single platform that helps me run my business professionally and with high quality service. A must-have tool for every small business.

I've been using 17hats since 2018! Couldn't do without it, honestly. All the clients are in one place, with invoices and automatic reminders so I don't have to chase payments. Questionnaires, quotes and contracts are a daily process. Workflows make my life easier in so many ways and online scheduling is so convenient. It's a must-have tool for every small business!

I like the automation and how easy it is to get work done without actually being there to do everything.

Cons:

Honestly, I'm happy with it, can't find any cons. Maybe the amount of time you have to put in at the beginning to learn the platform and to set up everything. But once that's done, it's done.

The seamless integration of quotes, contracts, invoices, and automated workflows has completely transformed how I run my business. It saves me so much time, eliminates back-and-forth emails, and gives my clients a smooth, professional experience. I also love the automation features—they ensure everything runs in the background while I focus on what I love most: photography.

Cons:

The only thing I can think of is that I’m UK-based and 17hats is a US company. That said, their response times have always been quick, and it’s never actually impacted anything—it’s just the only minor drawback I can think of!

I love that 17hats grows with me. When I first started out and had little income, I just used some of the basic services (like contact management & email templates). But now that I've grown and have processes for my work, I'm able to streamline and automate everything so that I'm not recreating the wheel for all the work I do. I have created templates for contracts, invoices, questionnaires, etc

The hidden gem for coaches to run their practices smoothly

17hats helps me organize and run my business efficiently and save time for what's truly important in my life.

Pros:

17hats allows me to have all my business administrative tasks and all records and documents related to each client in one place. The best part is that most of the tasks are automated, eliminating the need to hire an assistant for those tasks. The same way as you would train your assistant for the job you would spend some time to set up your systems the way you want them to work for you. There are many resources available to learn how to do it, including the live trainings where you can workshop your setup with a very knowledgeable team member, and the new Marketplace makes it even easier - you can download the set up you want and save time on setting things up yourself. Integration with my calendars and Zoom makes setting up meetings a breath - I don't have to double check for time conflicts or go back and forth with the Zoom links. It all happens automatically. Running my business from 17hats daily frees my time to have life and run my business, I don't have to choose one over the other. The customer support is spectacular. All my questions answered and issues resolved in a timely manner and in a supportive and respectful way.

Cons:

Nothing I can think of. Any issues that show up are always resolved quickly and efficiently

A lot of features for a very affordable price. If you're a service provider who offers package services, the lead-to-quote-to-invoice-to-project workflows with everything you and a small team needs, all in 1 place, is invaluable.

Cons:

The design isn't the prettiest. The calendar view never worked quite the way I wanted it to. The scheduling features weren't super robust (I still used Calendly alongside this). There's little to nothing on reporting or analytics.

SCAM! Do not use them!

It was really hard to set up and took me days to figure it out (Im very tech savvy so this was frustrating and no user friendly) Once everything was set up it was good and ran pretty well. Then the next year my membership went up to $300 which was expected because i got a discount to sign up initially so that was fine. Then they tried to charge my credit card $600 for the next year. Literally out of no where with no upgrades. I emailed them about this since there was no customer service number and the guy i spoke with was rude and did not offer any solutions besides a black friday deal theyll have months away. So now i need to redo my whole platform. This company is a scam, stay away!!!

The initial signup - Client Booking and Calendar

Cons:

They Scammed me. They initially said it was $150 to sign up for the year. Then they raised it to $300 the next year. Then SIX HUNDRED the next year. They didnt improve anything for this insane raise.
