About Business Continuity Maturity Model

Business Continuity Maturity Model (BCMM) is a customizable business continuity risk assessment tool that measures the level of risk in a business's business continuity management (BCM) plans against their business's maturity and goals.

A complete BCMM assessment provides stakeholders the opportunity to review their present BCM plan, identify new risks, and then update the plan as needed. Assessing maturity and identifying gaps assists organizations in ensuring they are able to recover in accordance with company objectives.

BCMM is conducted through Virtual Corporation's business continuity software platform Sustainable Planner, which provides a stable and secure assessment platform. BCMM is available in a free basic edition for organizations new to business continuity planning, as well as a full annual subscription edition with expanded features.

Pros:

I like the way it is broken into sections and levels of maturity. The new online format makes it very easy to complete. No longer do you need to answer the same question multiple times.

Cons:

The one feature I would like to see is allowing multiple people from an organization to complete the assessment and then provide a composite score. of all combined assessments.

It would be interesting to show how the calculation of the valuation is carried out in mathematical terms

You will be able to know in which areas of the organization there are strengths according to Business Continuity

The overall final report is extremely valuable for our team, we use this to show the development of our resiliency program. We have already gotten favorable reviews from our executives on this report.

Cons:

Having been using Sustainable planner for a while now, I found it a familiar interface and pretty easy to use. I do think the reporting could be a bit easier to use but that's about it
