Pros:

Its easy to use Allows you to back and clone drives with one click Highly responsive support team

Cons:

Downloading the software requires a bit of back and forth checking emails and then getting the link which if your network was acting up like mine was doing at the time, I almost thought it was no longer available to download.

No support for free trial

If you offer a “Free Trial” to entice a potential buyer to purchase your product, it would be prudent to offer support if the potential buyer has a problem. It’s like a car dealer offering a test drive of a new car, but ignoring you if the car breaks down. I will not be buying the software, and I’ll post negative reviews for a less than satisfactory experience.

It was easy to setup and set up an image backup

Cons:

I couldn’t get restore to work. When I requested assistance they responded that there was no support for the free trial and directed me to their knowledge base. I couldn’t find a resolution to my problem there.

We all know that 100% of people who can't get a trial to work don't buy the product, so we *do* support free trials and I'd encourage anyone who is told otherwise to contact us. NB: To be clear, we don't support users of our former free product, which has been discontinued - a free trial is supported.

A solid backup software that helps me sleep better and is easy to work with

I was looking for an alternative to a very popular american backup software, because their support quality and license policies were quite disappointing. There are not many options out there which are fairly priced yet professional and quick enough for my demands. Macrium Reflect meets those requirements perfectly so far, and I am very confident that there will be no problems should desaster ever strike. It is user friendly, works quickly and yet has all the options that a semi-pro with a home office environment like me could wish for.

Abundant options, fair pricing, streamlined and transparent UI and backup creation. Backs up very quickly. Easy and flawless creation of desaster recovery media.

Cons:

That i did not discover it sooner. No bugs or issues found so far, but have been only using it for a week.

Macrium is a great company and Reflect is a great product, been using it for years, to back up all my personal & work-based PCs and Servers. Couldn't live without it, it has saved our bacon so many times!!

Cons:

Key & subscription management could be more friendly, as could deployment, but overall the product is full featured and extremely robust and stable.

Reliable and easy to use. Recovery media creation is seamless, and Image Guardian is a great feature. Switched from Acronis due to bloatware and issues. Macrium Reflect offers everything I need without unnecessary extras. Extremely intuitive and always works flawlessly.

Macrium Reflect is a solid business PC backup solution.

It has been a good product for us. We are often caught in between 'too small for enterprise' and 'too big for small business'.

Pros:

It was a good replacement for Code42's Crashplan Enterprise, when they dropped on-premises self-hosted storage. The Reflect management server has a good set of features and is easy to use.

Cons:

When Macrium dropped the free version for home, I switched to the build-in Synology backup for my home PCs.

simple to use, fast, effective and works.

Overall Good, I have needed to contact support once for a problem where Macrium would not start because of a licensing issue, but macrium support sorted the problem very qucikly.

Nice lean product

It does the things that it supposed to do. A nice lean product with no additional (useless) "stuff". Just a product that does what it is bought for to do.

Pros:

That we can buy a perpetual license, was the prime reason. The units we work with are after shipment off-line, so a annual subscription is not possible. In the past we used Acronis, as they went to a subscription version, we selected your product. (so please keep this feature, otherwise we need to look for something different )

Cons:

None, it works fine. I never had an issue with your product.

Hi Bertin, I just want to draw your attention to our LTSC licences for regular purchases or large volumes, which provide a one-time purchase/perpetual license, a stable version of Macrium Reflect (v8.1) with a focus on critical security updates only, and a choice of 3 or 5 years of support. The LTSC license can also be offline activated and allows the machine to never need to go online - from activation to backup. Contact us if you would like to learn more.

Macrium cloning and backup

Overall a great product that I would recommend to anyone with backup or imaging needs.

Pros:

I use it primarily for disk cloning/imaging to do SSD and capacity upgrades. It works exceptionally well for such projects. I also have a few clients using it for backups; I have found the restore process to be quite painless.

Cons:

Needing to reboot after certain updates.
