Crew is a comprehensive team management solution that connects team members on the frontline, creates meaningful employee interactions, and drive real-time business results. Crew helps organizations align and manage front-line team member goals and communication to improve success across the board. Features include team communication, scheduling and shift coverage, employee recognition, document and task management, employee surveys, and enterprise management tools.

With Crew, team members can message other team members without the need for emails or phone numbers using Crew's instant messaging feature. Leadership can streamline communication to frontline employees using broadcasts and announcements, improving information visibility. Managers can add and update employee schedules by filling shifts with shift coverage features and by syncing Crew with third-party scheduling and WFM solutions. Worked great for what was needed

The experience was well. People enjoyed getting stars and having the communication in one place on their phone.

Crew helped communication in one place, and for groups to be made within the organization. Employees enjoyed the stars given and things as well.

Cons:

It changed from a free service to a paid service. I used it because it was free and it having a cost caused me to cancel

Crew is great for a basic communication tool amongst teams

For a basic communication platform, it was very useful and easy to use. It was also functional across different phone types. The gold star rewards were loved by my employees, although the fact that these had to be purchased beyond a few starter stars was frustrating

The ability to communicate with all of my team members, regardless of the phone type that they had. We also really liked the ability to provide gold star rewards and track those.

Cons:

Minimal things you could utilize it for beyond communication. Also didn't like that I had to buy the stars or my team had to buy stars to provide rewards/recognition for others

The chat/text messaging was not working well across different phone types, and we needed a communication platform. This was recommended by another small business owner

Great, Multi-Faceted Workplace Option

I loved using this app, and the customer support was awesome. Worked incredibly well for scheduled a staff of 80+ individuals and was super useful for mass communications as well.

The set up and onboarding was relatively quick and easy, and the countless amounts of customizable features made it a favorite of my staff when we used it.

Cons:

Glitches with clocking in/out were common, and certain permissions (like, security permissions) were difficult to adjust at first.

Crew is a great platform for our team!

My partner company started with crew, then left to a competitor product that turned out to be awful for our needs. We are now back on Crew and you can immediately see the difference in participation, communication, and productivity.

Easy to use and add members. Lots of space for file storage and sharing. Immediate responses and notifications when someone needs help.

Nothing that I have found. When we left I was hopeful but really disliked the new app. I am so glad we are back on Crew!

I appreciate the ease and simplicity of crew especially in comparison to other scheduling apps on the market right now. I love how once you knew how to use it, you could almost wake up middle of the night to a call off and move things around and make updates with your eyes closed lol. I loved that for staff who weren't as tech savvy this app was so user friendly.

I really appreciated the ease of use. I loved that everything was accessible through an app, making changing schedules and communicating a breeze. I loved that staff could operate with the same ease, posting and picking up shifts as well as communicating in a central place, making team collaboration enhanced

Cons:

There were instances where changes in schedules weren't showing up for everyone, or when as an admin a change was made but then it didn't reflect. Additionally some shifts would show up or be repeated having us run into instances where there were too many people scheduled showing up and having to select someone to go home. There were many times that staff would have to uninstall and reinstall the app for it to function properly.

Love this app for work!

I've enjoyed using the Crew app as a form of communication with my coworkers/for work purposes. We're able to share important updates and announcements with all staff, calendars and schedules, files and important docs, all in the app. It's nice to have a way to communicate without having to text everyone with my personal phone.

Easy to navigate the app. I like being able to use this app to communicate with coworkers instead of reaching out with my cell phone/personal number. We used to have multiple Facebook groups to communicate information between staff but not everyone has Facebook. With the Crew app, everyone has access to it, unless they're younger and don't have a cell phone then their parent is on the app. I also like that I'm able to turn off notifications for threads if I don't want to be bothered.

Cons:

Lately, there's nothing to report that I like least about this app.

Easier to use to communicate with all staff. Not everyone has Facebook/uses social media.

I loved how I could easily make an announcement to my team and that they all wouldn’t be able to reply.

Cons:

I wish I could delete the chat feature. We wanted to use the app purely for announcements. Group chats are too much to handle.

I love that we're able to send out staff-wide alerts and updated without sharing personal phone numbers. Scheduling feature is easy to read and great functionality.

Cons:

Navigating the dashboard is a bit clunky with quickly looking at the schedule.
