About Encapsia

Encapsia is a clinical data suite designed to help organizations streamline capturing, management, and reporting of electronic data in clinical trials. It includes an eSource app, which allows users to gather, validate, and clean data in real-time using iPad.

The Encapsia suite enables professionals to view data queries, tags, signatures, media attachments, and more. Features include historical records, audit trail, role-based permissions, navigation, gamification, data entry management, and offline access. Additionally, the multimedia functionality, allows users to record a variety of information including procedure videos, source notes, EMR screens, and informed consent.

Encapsia’s loader and review apps let administrators define automated transfer rules for upload and review of third-party data. Further, enterprises can gain insight into trends, outliers, coded data and site performance via an analytics dashboard. Pricing is available on request and support is extended via phone, email and other online measures.

Best eSource System in the Industry

Everyone who used the system loved it and it has made data management work easy and simpler. Has helped to clean the data faster and lock the study in under 7 days from the last subject last visit. With Encapsia, there is no need to look further for any other products in the market.

Pros:

Ease of use for site and the sponsors, Data managers and monitors. The reporting tool is great and can give real time metrics and reports. Very user friendly applications. Ability to integrate with other systems like eConsent, IRT/IVRS systems. Ability to import the external lab or ECG data for review by other functional areas like medical monitors.

Cons:

No ability to use the subject facing scales or to collect Patient Reported Outcomes directly using Encapsia.

Pros:

Very easy to use Can view all information across time which is very useful - especially lab values for safety Can download information for internal use as and when necessary Very helpful team - able to customize outputs as needed

Cons:

would like a simplified log in process (have to do it twice each time) Would like to stay logged on a little longer - logs off very quickly if not online even briefly
