Been fantastic for us in allowing us to achieve a way of doing successful User Access Reviews, and has been incredibly easy for us to integrate a large number of applications, which before would not have been as easy to achieve.

Pros:

Just a very easy platform to work with. Really easy to integrate applications, gives a very simple, easy to understand view for users to carry out reviews, and is also useful for ongoing maintenance of platforms.

Cons:

It's early in its lifetime, so there's always improvements to be made, but the team have been very engaged in support. Integrations into ITSM is probably where it is lacking the most.

Zilla is a rockstar in the enterprise tool set

We are very happy with the rapid deployment of an Access Review tool compared to the heavy hitters of the industry. Support was out of this world, folks worked as a team. Very responsive and great will follow-ups

Ease of setup and rapid deployment of policies to identity "findings"

Cons:

Lack of dashboards and reports, would help if there was api integration with tools like Tableau or PowerBI. Would like to see a better way of identifying "Movers", especially for privileged roles/groups. The whole lifecycle of an Identity should be considered

Reasons for choosing Zilla Security

It is more robust program and very user friendly. Zilla doesn't pretend to be something else other than Access Reviews. Love that you guys are good at one thing!

Pros:

The UI/UX is great. The Zilla support team is very knowledgeable and quick to respond to any trouble we have. It's a powerful tool, the APIs and ZUS tool are really convenient for pulling users from apps.

Cons:

No easy way to setup business rules so that owners of apps don't have to review thousands of users. - The Zilla team is already working on a solution to this though. The ZUS tool doesn't work on every webpage. - The Zilla team has ways to gather the information from their side to make it work on future attempts once we alert them. Deactivating users or marking them as "Remove access" during access reviews doesn't automatically remove them from the application. It's a manual process on our side.

Excellent UI and is very easy to use compared to its competitors. User access reviews are now a breeze. The Zilla team is easy to work with and feature requests are taken very seriously.

Cons:

More application integrations would be nice.

Zilla makes RBAC relatively easy

The sales process was pleasant, the implementation process was easy, and the platform works as demonstrated. No hidden gotchas. Plus, using the platform is easy! Made our system owners very happy and supportive of the project. I would highly recommend Zilla to anyone looking for what it does.

System implementation for platforms they integrate with takes about 10 minutes.

Cons:

Not all platforms have integrations (older legacy platforms and more esoteric systems can cause you to create workarounds - it can be done, just requires more effort).

Zilla has checked a very big box

Zilla has really checked the box for compliances reviews. Before Zilla, they were being with disparate methods and tools throughout the the organization. It's especially important when it comes to reviewing access to our financial controls.

Pros:

As a company that concentrates on access reviews of SaaS products, Zilla was a great match for our portfolio of vendors. It has been easy for admins from different areas of the business to integrate their applications and review access. As the primary administrator, I get a lot of positive feedback about how intuitive the interface is.

Cons:

It would be great to see Zilla build even more workflow into the access reviews, so we could have a level of review/signoff. Most of our reviews are done by admins, with the report being given manually to the business owner.
