About AssetTiger

AssetTiger is a cloud-based asset management software designed to help businesses streamline processes related to maintenance scheduling, barcode scanning, expiration tracking and more. Administrators can add multiple users on the platform and configure access permissions according to organizational requirements.

AssetTiger allows enterprises to utilize customizable reports for tracking assets' status based on depreciation, check-out timings and maintenance requirements. Managers can set up email alerts, reminders or alarms to monitor contracts' due dates, license expirations and deadlines for specific assets. Additionally, managers can store contracts and licenses in a centralized repository, schedule equipment' maintenance dates and monitor assets' check-in/out interactions.

AssetTiger provides mobile applications for Android and iOS devices, which help organizations scan barcodes, manage assets and conduct audits, even from remote locations. The product is available on annual subscriptions and support is extended via FAQs, email, phone and other online measures.

    An excellent app with great functionality across data uploads, mobile app etc. Easy to get to grips with it, great for SMEs.
    Cons:
    Some of the menus are a little non-intuitive, but it's not too bad. If you had a more complex estate there are not enough levels to easily represent areas in hierarchical form, but for simple estates, it's great. I'd like the options to group areas for audit rather than having to download one room at a time. I'd also like to be able to multiselect assets and then update them all at once.

    AssetTiger has been a great product for out district. Reports can be ran easy and the informaiton we look for from this system is right at our fingertips.

    Disservice to free tier users with update

    Was amazing until I was forced to delete a bunch of things to continue using it, now I have to watch for arbitrary limitations or I will run into walls that demand a steep price that was not there just a few days ago. I understand you need money, but this was handled poorly, it bothered me enough to write this review.

    I LOVED the OLD FREE tier, but they had to ruin it with some arbitrary limitations causing me issues in trying to even remain compliant! Asset Tiger is "alright" at the free tier now, but just barely.
    Cons:
    The sudden pricing structure change that added some arbitrary limits just out of the blue. Why could I not be grandfathered into something that didn't cause me to lose data in custom fields?? 2 Users are you kidding me? 5 Custom Fields? I need to pay $20 a month JUST to have more custom fields that I had for YEARS??? You are trying to squeeze a free tier to paid tier and the leap is just absurd from FREE, to $240 a year if paid monthly... I really wish there was a grandfathered in plan of sorts, and I hate to say it, my company would likely not pay even if it was cheaper, we would change platforms. This just added annoyance and pushed me to write this because I find it incredibly annoying. No $5 a month plan, no $10 a month plan, no straight to $20 to start out, and cut me off from using until I delete things. This is incredibly frustrating, I just spent an hour clearing stuff out to "comply". I would have had nothing but great things to say if it wasn't for this experience, I love the platform, but wow I feel done dirty.

    Very easy to use, they have definitely thought about the user experience. I found it very quick to set up my inventory, scan barcodes and replicate assets. The check-in-out feature works very well. The app works exceptionally well and is very well thought out.
    Cons:
    There isn't enough user documentation, so I've had to figure things out for myself. I have had a few slow moments uploading images, but performance is generally very crisp.

    We were initially extremely disappointed by the sudden account restrictions and lack of grandfathering for active customers. It felt abrupt and transactional, and we strongly considered leaving. However, after posting our honest feedback, the Asset Tiger team reached out directly and went above and beyond to make things right. That response completely changed the tone of our experience. While the rollout had flaws, their willingness to take responsibility and restore trust was exceptional. It turned a frustrating situation into a redeeming one—and for that, they earned our respect back.

    Super solid product that delivers on what it promises. It’s affordable, functional, and designed with real-world asset tracking in mind. We’ve used it successfully for years and recommended it to others with similar operational needs. When issues arise, they don’t ignore them—they listen and take real action, which speaks volumes. Simplicity and practicality are the key. It gives us a centralized, cloud-based system to track everything from AVL gear to HVAC units without complex setup or high costs. The barcode check-in/check-out system is especially useful for managing shared equipment, and the maintenance scheduling helps us stay ahead of preventative tasks. Its web platform is intuitive, and asset records are easy to customize with photos, receipts, and notes. It offers exceptional value and supports our goal of faithful stewardship by reducing loss, improving accountability, and streamlining our asset management process.
    Cons:
    While the recent account and pricing transition was poorly executed at first, the support team stepped up in a big way. That said, there should have been a smoother, more thoughtful rollout—particularly for loyal, long-time users. There is a lack of advanced features and modern integrations. The mobile app is clunky and often slow, which frustrates staff trying to scan items in the field. User roles are overly broad, limiting how precisely we can control access. It also lacks a built-in reservation system, making it hard to manage shared gear without external calendars. There’s no integration with platforms like Google Workspace, Asana, or Slack, which limits workflow automation. While it’s functional for internal tracking, it falls short in flexibility, automation, and ease of use for volunteers or part-time staff.

We did make a price increase on July 1, but based on our competitive research, we are still the most affordable option in the market by ~50%. If you find a better deal out there for the same features, send it to our team and we'll beat it. We're a small team, and have been working really hard to address all calls and emails.     Our organization is national, and we have users in multiple states. Each has their own account/custom views, and we can easily see/manage assets in all our locations. We love the ability to see a piece of equipment is available and request it from each other (creating a paper trail). It's even nice to see the total value of our assets/depreciation of our entire organization. While we are just a branch, we are suggesting this system to our parent organization for their use.
    Cons:
    Inventory. While it is still new, it is limited. As of this review, while adding or editing, you cannot put the "Location" or "Sub-Location" of the inventory item, then search for it. I tried custom fields, but they would not work or show up on the information. And it cannot be shared across our multiple sites. In addition, this feature has a bug when changing the InventoryID, it will not allow you to change it then go back without having to manually change each one. Assets. I don't like that if you need to make a bulk change, you cannot do this with a picture. You have to manually change it for each asset. I had over 100 to do by hand. From their tech support, there is no way to search your list to see if you are missing assetIDs. We have thousands and just to see if we are missing assetID [sensitive content hidden] would be a nice feature. You have to export your list, then open excel and run formulas to search for missing assetID's. Sharing Assets. It would be a nice feature to integrate UPS, Fedex or USPS to where you can "Checkout" this device and either place the tracking number for it, or even purchase. Might be out of reach but just a thought.

    Don't have backup option. if we want to restore the data to any previous date is not available. it should have the inventory management with more features. it should have lease management system.
