Great product

Overall extremely positive experience; we deployed Bridgit first within a couple of select divisions within our company and then rolled the product out enterprise-wide and this has been well received by our teams. Very user friendly interface and there is a multitude of integrations with various platforms that have allowed us to manage our workforce and be proactive with our planning.

Pros:

Overall, one of the biggest benefits is that the product is very user friendly. Visual Gantt chart by projects is seamless and provides a quick and easy resource to help plan. Bridgit allows for easy customization of filters to see and sort the data in virtually in any fashion the user desires. The product also allows for easily generated reports to help in workforce planning meetings/updates. The ability to track proximity of staff to jobsite locations is a great asset when developing potential resources for a project or opportunity, especially in a metro location where travel/traffic are true barriers. Mobile platform/app is very easy to use and intuitive.

Cons:

Nothing comes to mind at this time; we are currently working through integrations to various technology platforms.

Great Tool to Use!

My overall experience with Bridgit Bench has been very positive. The platform has greatly enhanced our project management capabilities, allowing us to efficiently plan resources. The user-friendly interface makes it easy to navigate and utilize its features effectively. While there have been occasional technical issues, they are relatively minor compared to the significant benefits we’ve gained. (Before we were using spreadsheet for tracking). In summary, Bridgit Bench has proven to be a valuable asset for our organization, streamlining our processes and contributing to more successful project outcomes. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their resource management and planning efforts.

We decided to switch from Smartsheet to Bridgit Bench primarily for its specialized focus on construction resource management. Bridgit Bench - Best Tool in the Technology Tool Box.

Overall it has been a wonderful addition to our technology tool box. We need to track over a hundred projects at any point in time and all of the resources that go with them, Bridgit allows us to make sure we have the right people in the right place at the right time.

Pros:

The product is very intuitive. I love that you can view your projects as both a list and as a Gantt chart and that you can deep dive into the details of the project by clicking on the project name from any view. Being able to see the dates of each project phase by hovering over the Gantt bar is a huge benefit because I can go from project to project without leaving the Gantt view.

Cons:

I like that we can identify each project phase by date and when building out the phases it automatically starts the next phase with the date following the last phase but editing the phases when you have 8 or more phases like we do is a big chore. It would be a huge time savings if one phase date could be edited and have all subsequent phases adjust accordingly, or alternatively, if you could drag phase dates on the Gantt chart.

Easy Rollout & Great Support Team

Overall, it was a really smooth experience. The integration was easy, and their team was great to work with — super responsive and helpful throughout the process. It made getting up and running a lot easier than we expected.

I really liked how easy it was to use. The layout is super clean, and it made moving people around on projects quick and straightforward. Being able to see who’s available and who’s overloaded at a glance was really helpful. I also liked the filters — it’s nice to be able to sort by role or region and actually get useful info without digging. Overall, it felt like it was built with construction teams in mind.

Cons:

There were a few areas where we wished we had a little more flexibility, like customizing fields to match our internal needs. Nothing major — just some small things we’d tweak to better fit how we work.

Pros:

Bridgit does a great job of providing companies with a lot of flexibility on the back-end to configure the product to their specific business needs - while keeping the front-end very intuitive, but powerful. That is a hard balance to strike.

Cons:

It was hard to come up with one, but if I'm nitpicking, I wish there was a better way to extract the data out of Bridgit to use to various reporting/dashboarding e.g. Microsoft Data Connector for PowerBI. Currently all data needs to be extracted through APIs.

The user interface is intuitive and easy to use that custom built apps. The ability to filter and sort through resources with the smart selection tool is great.

Cons:

Our system is currently not completely automated with our HRIS system. It would be great to track new hires and terminations automatically.

Bridgit is very user friendly. Relatively easy to learn the functions and teach them to new users.

Cons:

Some of the functionality of allocations for the field staff, they can sometimes be allocated between a few projects

Bridgit has changed the way we do resource management.

Bridgit has changed the way we do resource management. As a company, we tried several different resource management tools and always ended up back on a simple excel spreadsheet that provided no real data and didn't allow us to plan. Bridgit is the first tool that stuck and we never looked back. Bridgit allows us to manage approximately 70 people to make sure we are managing the delicate line of utilization. Being a general contractor, we feel Bridgit was a tool that understood how general contracting worked and developed a software around that.

Easy to use. Functional. Integrations with Procore and BambooHR to eliminate double entry. Quick looks and real time information.

Cons:

The only thing we see missing is a simplified report that can be shown on a 1 or 2 page printout for project timeline and resources allocated. Similar to an excel sheet.

Bench was created with the general contractor in mind in our opinion. It works with how we plan and allocate resources.
