ProjectTeam is a cloud-based construction project management solution that caters to businesses in the construction industry. Key features include requests for information (RFIs), drawing management, action forms, file management and more.

ProjectTeam allows users to create custom forms for tracking specific need and add custom fields to them. Team members can also maintain personal notes and share them with their colleagues. The solution's collaborative functionalities let users search and find other companies within the solution and send project invitations as well as receive them.

ProjectTeam's change order module helps users to issue directives to contractors and create potential change orders from these directives. Additionally, it offers users features that include bid management, budgets, cost forecasting, submittals and submittal packages, field reports and specification management.

Services are offered on a monthly subscription basis that includes support via phone, email and FAQs.

My overall experience with Project Team is very good. It is user friendly and I like using it. It is very helpful with my task and easy to use.

Pros:

It is very easy to manage and user friendly. Not so hard to learn and so many good features in tracking the progress of the work. Can be access anywhere.

Cons:

When creating contract or change orders, sometimes the scope of work is limited so when linking it to word documents not all the information copies to the word document so I have to copy the scope once again.

Because Prolog is not easy to access and its dated software.

Need Better revision tracking for Engineering Documents

I like using Project team in general. As I mentioned I miss using some of the features that I was used to using on other platforms.

I like Project team's 1. Ease of search 2. User layout 3. Centralized tracking of each item 4. Ease to find document metadata

Cons:

Project team's Revision tracking is not very intuitive for engineering documents. I often struggle to find older revisions while I am on a latest revision.

ProjectTeam Recommendation

ProjectTeam was deployed on a project that had European contributors and it significantly helped with document transfer to them. The news feed gave me immediate information about who in Europe had been working in the system and on what documents when we arrived at work each morning.

Pros:

The system is extremely user friendly and provides a great platform for sharing very large files with other team members. The technical support that is available, is very attentive to solving any issue brought to them.

Cons:

Some of the forms that are system generated have titles that cannot be modified to fit our project needs.

once you have spent multiple years working in the ProjectTeam space it is easy to use, but my biggest gripe is how difficult it is to figure out files, workflows, design review comments etc for newer users

the ability to customize ProjectTeam to whatever a specific project needs is definitely a big selling point of the software

Cons:

I do not like how there is a very steep learning curve to figuring out the software for new users, because of how different it is to other softwares in the field

Excellent Customization and Reporting — A Perfect Fit for Construction Projects

Overall, ProjectTeam.com has been a strong tool for managing construction documentation, RFIs, submittals, and daily reports. ProjectTeam.com offers excellent customization. I really like how easy it is to build custom forms, fields, and workflows tailored to each project’s needs. The custom reports are one of the best features — being able to pull exactly the data I need for weekly summaries, inspection logs, RFIs, and pay item tracking saves a lot of time. The platform keeps all project documents organized and accessible, and collaboration across multiple stakeholders is smooth.

Cons:

Honestly, there is nothing I dislike about ProjectTeam.com. The platform meets all my needs and performs exactly as expected.

Good Product, could be streamlined

We have been using ProjectTeam for several government projects. In general, it is a good platform. My complaints are just with how information is organized and steps that are repetitive at times.

Pros:

Nice compact way to gather project information and assign to appropriate team members. Generally has a good interface and keeps information at the teams fingertips throughout construction.

Cons:

Some of the workflows are not intuitive, can be clunky to get things coded correctly. Some items, submittal approvals for example, seem to require the same information to be input multiple times to update the status of a submittal. It feels like this could be streamlined.

Project Team experience from a GC perspective

Good overall experience. Kept the project flowing and for the most part kept track of what court an item is in

It creates a great project roadmap and workflow tracking tool. There is plenty of capacity to store documents, pdf's files etc.

Cons:

Once an RFI is closed it can't be reopened if new information becomes available. This makes multiple iterations of the same basis RFI.

All form records in ProjectTeam, including RFIs, can be locked at certain points in your workflow, but locking is optional and not required by the system. Many organizations choose to lock records at closure to preserve a clear audit trail and prevent unintended changes. That said, project administrators have the ability to unlock records if new information becomes available, allowing updates to be made without creating multiple iterations of the same RFI when it makes sense to do so. Pros:

Ease of use and customization are the two biggest pros of ProjectTeam. I am an administrator for my organization and the ability to adjust forms and workflows on the fly has been a huge help. Also, the fact that they have a FedRAMP authorized version of the system sets it apart from most the other solutions on the market.

Cons:

There is not much I like least about the system. If I had to say something I guess I wish reports were easier to create in some cases. But they do allow users to add custom formulas and calculations so still very flexible.

Procore isn't on the FedRamp marketplace and Kahua seemed less intuitive (slower, more like a traditional database type tool)..

We were looking for something more construction focuses and liked the flexibility of ProjectTeam. We also have some people that aren't very good with spreadsheets which made Smartsheets a little cumbersome to administer.

i see no reason to use this software

it has been completely terrible. i tend to assume that it must be the fault of the project's OPM because I can't imagine you could be in business if the software is as unuseable as it has been on my project.

honestly, nothing. this may be the adminstrator's fault because I assume it should work somewhat like procure, but on the project I'm using it for, it is completely unusable.

Cons:

i am a user so i don't have any administrative privileges, but I do not get notified of any new submittals or when something is in my court. i can't find any documentation or record of submission

i am not an adminstrator on any projects because I am an engineer, but I've used procure on most projects and everything about procure is better than everything about project teams, in my experience.
