Why use anything else?

I use Google contacts for work and personal. By using two separate Google accounts, I can keep my contacts separate but still have easy access to both.

It's easy to back up and restore my contacts across devices. It's free and very helpful. It also has great integration across other products.

Pros:

Easy to input all sources of contact information for each individual person. Like the compatibility a specific person also has a Google account.

Cons:

Contacts are hard to transfer from other systems (or I just haven’t figured it out yet). Easier to use if person has a google account.

It stores contact information with rather limited functionality.

Cons:

Google Contacts has gotten incredibly slow since they overhauled the GUI! It is literally on the verge of being unusable. I do have to add the caveat that I have a large number of contacts. No activity log.

Pros:

The Google contact is one of the best way to arrange all your contacts in organised manner and the contact can also sync with Google account so if we change our device then only with Gmail I'd we can get all our contacts. We can merge duplicate contacts, and the search feature is also very fast and optimised.

Cons:

The Google contact have no feature of grouping the contact, and also it does not hide incomplete numbers, sometimes it lags, and the other thing is that it need proper internet connection to save our contact, also if we share contacts books to other then sometimes some contacts are missing, overall the software is good.

Ubiquitous Access To Everyone I Know

I have found it to be a good experience that allows me to track phone numbers, emails, and even birthdays with ease. I like that I can layer each person with personal, business, home, and cell numbers and information.

I like that, like most Google products, it's ubiquitous. I enjoy the fact that I can find my contacts on my phone, computer, or any device in the world. I also appreciate that it is smooth in its use and function.

Cons:

There are some issues that arise when there are duplicate contacts or information that seems separated. The good news, though is there seems to be more accountability from Google's integrated AI that finds these problems more readily.

The Google Contacts label feature and the ability to add contacts directly from an email have been beneficial. It eliminates the need to navigate multiple screens.

Cons:

Sometimes when I update a label, the system takes a while to acknowledge the change. This adds time when creating bulk emails because I don't always trust the system to reflect the change.

Pros:

Quick response in terms of sharing contacts, importing and exporting. The ability to recover the contacts even if the phone or mobile card are misplaced or damaged.

Cons:

Requires internet always to work perfectly. My contact have not been easy to access offline. This posses a challenge for me in the event that I can not access the contacts.
