About Google Contacts

Google Contacts is a cloud-based solution that allows enterprises to store and manage contacts in a built-in directory. Professionals can create/import new contacts with details such as mailing address, phone number or directory profile and categorize them using labels.

Google Contacts offers integration with Gmail, which helps businesses send emails to specific individuals or multiple groups. The solution enables users to manually merge duplicate contacts, star important profiles and delete or restore phone numbers as per individual requirements. Additionally, managers can utilize the search functionality to retrieve specific information from the directory.

Google Contacts enables organizations to print profiles and export contacts in vCard or CSV format. The product is available for free and support is extended via documentation.

    Google Contacts Review

Overall, my experience with Google Contacts has been good. It’s convenient to keep all my contacts in one place, and syncing across my devices saves me time. I like how I can organize and search for contacts easily. However, occasional syncing issues and managing duplicates can be frustrating. Despite this, it is a helpful tool to keep my contacts organised.

    Pros:
Google Contacts is easy to use and keeps all my contacts in one place. It syncs automatically across my devices, so I always have updated contact information. I can organize contacts into groups, add notes, and search easily. It’s free and works well with other Google services like Gmail and Google Drive.
    Cons:
I find some cons of Google Contacts: It needs an internet connection for syncing, and sometimes the sync doesn’t work properly. Managing duplicates can be tricky, even with the merge feature. If I accidentally delete a contact, it is very difficult to recover it.

    Pros:
It stores contact information with rather limited functionality.
    Cons:
Google Contacts has gotten incredibly slow since they overhauled the GUI! It is literally on the verge of being unusable. I do have to add the caveat that I have a large number of contacts. No activity log.

All my connections are organized and at my fingertips in Google Contacts. I appreciate how well it works with other Google products. It can automatically pull in Gmail contacts, you can import from other platforms, and you have access to your contacts on any of my devices. It is easy to find the right contact via a powerful search function and its clean interface.
    Cons:
Google Contacts does more than the basics, but it doesn't have everything you might want when it comes to advanced contact categorization (like tags, for instance), or relationship management.

I regularly use an Android phone for professional and personal use, so using Google contacts is going to be My automatic default, however, it is a good one and I don't think that I would have to download another address or my contact manager to be able to have everything I need in contacts.
