Highspot Is Great! But....

Pros:

I really do love Highspot as far as CMS's/KB's go as there really is so much you can do with it as far as customizations, integrations, etc.

Cons:

I wish the UI was a bit more customizable and that there were better versioning options for content coming from Google Drive (as well as permissions sync from Drive) and those are my only wishes with Highspot.

I love having all of our sales content and tools in one spot, bringing our resources together.

Cons:

There is a bit of a learning curve as its less intuitive as some of the other programs I've used, especially for set up.

Not intuitive, Bad UX/UI

It has been horribly challenging to use and we have never received training. I would never recommend this software to anyone.

Cons:

This is one of the most confusing and horribly designed software I've ever used in my life. The UX is from 2000. The navigation and terms used are not intuitive or easy to understand.

Great Tool For Accessing Materials

My company has a lot of materials, pdfs, decks, media, etc. so having it all in one place is great and I love that their search results are very intuitive and will populate related materials.

Pros:

I really like Highspot. It was really intuitive in searching for the correct materials and since my company had a lot of materials loaded into it, it would also show related materials. Sometimes I would be looking for one thing specifically, and then would see other options and pick them because they were better so I appreciate that it brought out all the related items in the search. Highspot also allows you to share materials directly with others without having to download and send an attachment.

Cons:

The only drawback was having to "remix" materials if you wanted to grab one slide from a deck and add it to another. Depending on the number of slides you were "remixing" it could take a long time for it complete. Because of this I shied away from sharing it that way and would often just download the material and send it out directly.

Reasons for switching to Highspot

I wasn't the decision maker but I imagine that it was because we wanted to get away from downloading material and sending them as an attachment, where with HIghspot, we can share the material directly with the client. The client can view it but not download it so we don't have random materials out there. Again, I didn't make the decision but this seems like the biggest upside that Seismic either didn't have or we didn't utilize.

Very positive and really easy t use overall but the search functionality is till very basic. I hope that an AI search functionality will be added soon

- Ease of use even the first time - Many functionalities such as link tracking - Ability to create your own spot to keep your files

Cons:

- Many of the documents are stored in Highspot in the cloud a bit like Google Drive this might be more linked to the basic use of my company but it makes you wonder why a dedicated tool is needed for that - The search functionality is very basic so finding the right document can be difficult if you do not have precise keywords

Highspot is most effective in a way that raises the question soliciting real-time data aka Relevant Realms during the customer interactions. It is astonishing to see how it assists the salespeople by providing relevant tips on how to continue the conversation and be more relevant to the buyer.

Cons:

At times this search capability is not as efficient as it should be especially when very specific words are used. This can be time consuming especially when one is searching for specific resources, something that is not very suitable for hurry environments.

Pros:

The Highspot real-time analytics have allowed our sales managers to give proper and accurate feedback to ads. The data collected from the assessment of the individual performance also helps identify areas that require intervention to enhance performance and hence, results.

Cons:

The analytics dashboard is also known to take time to update data which can be inconveniencing when making decisions.
