About Jazz Platform

Jazz Platform is a cloud-based and on-premise network security solution designed to assist small to large businesses with threat detection and response automation. Key features include data protection, image capture, forensic analysis, multi-factor authentication and policy violation reporting.

The application enables engineers to monitor users, devices and network behavior for abnormal actions using machine learning technology. Organizations can define security policies and enforce secured cyber practices over remote internet connections, USB storage devices, data sharing, file uploads and more. It allows administrators to track employee activities and record events in a logical sequence within activity feeds. Moreover, supervisors can display on-screen alarm messages to users and lock computer systems in event of threats.

Jazz Platform offers integration with various third-party applications such as Slack, G Suite, Splunk, Office 365, IBM QRadar and more. Support for the solution is provided through email and pricing is available on request.

Pros:

Jazz Platform is the best software for data protection. You can monitor network behavior, users, and devices at the same time for checking abnormalities. It's very easy to use. someone can understand this software in a short time. the most important thing is that Jazz Platform doesn't have any hidden charges. It also educates employees to access different websites with safety, which guarantees your organization safe data handling.

Cons:

The searches should be more explained for better understanding. Otherwise, it's good from all aspects.

Bringing a complete insight to the table

Our experience has been very good so far, especially with the support. They are always keen on helping and finding the best possible solution. As far as the platform goes, I would appreciate more functions being added in the GUI to get away from having to use the API (and hence requesting the new API-libraries from time to time). I do however understand that this might not be the case for the majority of the customers since they're probably running the cloud based solution. As for the platform with the actual "use case", it's very good. Like I mentioned earlier, we're getting great insights into the clients and the behaviour they're causing, down to the very details in form of which process that has "touched" a file for example.

The great upside with the Jazz platform is the insight that we're getting into the enrolled endpoints. We can find and analyse anomalies that would be hard to find otherwise, and on top of that we're getting the "full picture" considering all of the details around the occurring events in the platform.

Cons:

1. My interpretation is that the product has been launched with a focus on the cloud solution, and even though there is an on premise solution availabile, it hasn't really been adapted for MSSP use. (Switching tenants from within the supertenant, templates for different roles, templates for tenant boundries and so on). 2. There are no official guidelines on how to perform backups at the moment. 3. No HA/redundancy when using on-prem? However, with the above being said, the support are always on their feet and able to help out in one way or another, which is great.

Pros and Cons

It has been wonderful. Customer service has been extremely responsive along with the Dev team. Every time we have engaged with either, we have gotten resolutions quick and fixed. Bravo.

It is very intuitive. There are a lot of things we can do to monitor our users activities in a very easy location.

Cons:

The searches could use some more explaining. I have been told a how to is coming soon, but as of now, it is not very easy to use the search.

Jazz makes the Employee a part Of the our cyber defense

Its a fanatatic software for organisations that want to educate their staff with the company IT organisation. Ease of use! It took us ten minutes to understand the UI and it comes with everything included, no hidden cost!

The power search function is a very powerful tool to understand the behavior of the employee and build custom made Policy’s

The only thing is that we would have liked to see a automatic language setting. But we are sure that will Jazz develop this in a short future!
